How did you end up blowing up the high freq tweeter? How much wattage does it need to go full volume or amperage? How much and where you bought the replacement tweeter at?

I am quite sure that YAMAHA is using Celestion speakers in DXR/DXS series. For my taste this is that speaker: www.thomann.de/pl/celestion_cdx1_1446.htm

its almost the same .the one used in dxr is bolt on version celestion cdx1- 1445
