He's not lying about the headband being too short. This is why I had to return it, because at the limit of the headband it didn't fit my head. I was sad to realize that. The sound is superior to the Bathys, but I ended up having to get the bathys because the sound was still amazing plus the comfort and staging is high, also the bathys are very pretty in hand. I love the honeycomb design on the cups. The H95 though is pure luxury for real, plus I wanted to match the B&O in my car. Lol. I was sad to let it go. I hope they figure out this flaw

Hey Opaz hope you've been well man. Loving these videos bro and really appreciate all the time you put into them. I have to agree that wirelessly for most things the Dali is a slightly more enjoyable listen than the 5909 (probably cause the 5909 just feels like the more analytical listen), but what's your take on the two of them wired? Maybe it's just me but I feel like the 5909 is more DAC responsive and changes its sound signature a bit more than the Dali does. To me, wirelessly, I would give the edge to the Dali over the 5909, however while they both improve when listening wired I feel like the 5909 improves a little more and just sounds cleaner and impactful. Just curious what your thoughts were and whether you felt the same. Both are absolutely fantastic and worth their price though.

Who’s behind mark levinson right now. It’s not mark levinson him self. And Harmon sold there soul to Samsung. So who is really behind mark levinson today. I guess it would actually be Samsung since Samsung bought Harmon way before these cans came out. And Samsung is not known for hi end audio. So would you pay 1k for some Samsung cans cause that’s what this really is. I hate when a company uses another company’s name kills everything.

Hey Opaz , do you feel the Dali are loud? IMO I believe they should be louder. There not loud like my 5909 or APM, XM5.

Been using mine now for over a year, every week and push them, nothing vibrates, nothing broken, or fallen off.. I have since purchased the smaller 12" set up, which I now used as top speakers, now using the 15" as floor mounted bass units, this set up is now fine for what I do...

I had an accident and thus the last few days I have been watching dozens of reviews and its remarkable that most reviewers I have watched to this point are full of praise for both these focals and the h95, so it's great to see the two of them being compared to another headphone - of which I have never heard up intil now - which seems to be far better! Btw, where are you from? I cannot figure out your accent but I kind of line how clear you pronounce each and every word :) Greetings from Zurich

I love my 5909. I know the Focal fans love their Bathys and I've heard of the Dali and others but I love everything about the Mark Levinson offering, though it's even better sounding wired.

Dali io 12 and 5909 will be kings for a while yet 👍😀

Hi, I am looking in your channel if you did a review for the HK Polar 12. Can't believe the différence prices vs all the others.

I agree completely. I bought an Everse 12. Measured the exact same SPL as Yamaha DBR10 at more than 2x the price, with larger weight and size to deal with. Not worth the price to performance ratio. Sold the Everse 12, kept my DBR10s.

This is a pretty common thing with most closed back headphones. When they have a good seal they're just not breathable enough for proper airflow. I did sample a Sonos Ace at my local Best Buy the other day and I did notice 2 things within about 15 minutes or so which may contribute to a bit more condensation buildup vs alot of its competitors. Just in that short timeframe I noticed the headphones tend to run a little bit warm. Thought it was in my head at first but I tried the Sennheiser M4, Bose Ultra and Sony XM5 while I was there for about 5 minutes a piece and came back to the Sonos and my ears again felt a tad warmer than with the others. Another thing I noticed was that the mesh in the earcup felt so thin that it almost felt like a very fine plastic mesh or super thin crinaline. It looks like it would do a great job blocking stuff like earwax, dust or debris, but it also felt a little water repellent which when added to the lack of airflow and the heat generated from wear/headphone operation it could also contribute to collecting more moisture. Maybe not in a way that could directly affect the drivers but I can see it definitely collecting within the earcup rims. It may not be a bad thing cause if it causes moisture to run off away from the drivers that will protect them longterm as long as the earcups are removed a couple times a day after wearing them just to air them out. These may just require a little more attention from the wearer but for someone who just wants to wear them all day and toss them in the case without any maintenance I can see these having some problems. On a side note the headphones I'm really curious about are the upcoming Fokus Audio Apollo. I'll be keeping an eye out for your review in case you decide to nab those too

This isn’t a problem…. Every headphone will have condensation after use. With headphones that don’t have removable cups it does happen but you can’t observe it 🤦‍♂️

Something normal I guess. With other headphones as well, where you mostly can’t take off the earcups.

Hi, I just bought the 5909 and noticed that whilst playing music with anc on that the sound tone/phasing changes when I move or walk around. Is this a trait of the 5909 or do I need to return them to the dealer? Thanks.

Everse 12 used in parades and park jams. The battery and output is insane. I have a Duracell battery block to power my DJ equipment and I am portable DJ ready with the umph that you need for dance music.

I've heard about the fluttering of audio playback while using the slowest levels of ultra pitch and I got one with the same problem. Is there any remedy for this? Would a firmware update help this??.. i think not. Any ideas? It's the only problem with this otherwise great table, imo. Seriously, amy answers?

I never heard of this brand before. It does sound nice though. Good to have some reggae music to compare and analyze ability
