Hehe, I've got one of those disappointing Pink Princesses, too 😆 It has loads of pink variegation on the stem and petioles, but most of the leaves are that horrible muddy colour, and it just gives the odd splash of pink on the leaves when it feels like it. Thankfully, it was free, so it can just sit in the corner and do whatever it wants. I'm past caring at this point 😏
You're not wrong about the Pink Princess. I blame Planterina for my pandemic-obsession with the PP. (Man, I really miss her!) She had such fancy ones! So disappointing when I finally got one. Many were calling them "poo princesses." The newest thing is Pink Princess "Marble." Supposedly, the color pattern is so much better than the original. The one I saw on a YT video was so nice! Yep, the philodendron marketing gods got me again. It's not pretty either. 😂 At least the prices aren't what they used to be.
😂 poo princess tickled me because I can't think of a better description for the PPP. I came across the Marble Princess as well. My understanding is that it was created using some kind of radiation... Way to scientific for me to understand
To be fair on the PPP, it is very tolerant to under watering and low light. No I don't, but I would love one. I have not been able to find one in the UK, one seeds that I have not been able to germinate

It is good to know that I am not the only one whose pink Princess is not pink. I have bought several.
Did you have any luck with any of them?
@ no
My pink princess is doing well...considering I forget about it sometimes!! Do you have a Dioone Edule in your collection?
