I'm so glad you like the rugosum, aka, the pigskin philodendron 😊 Those leaves will size up in no time. Have you thought about trying to activate some nodes on the bare stem by air-layering? It is a plant that does like to drop lower leaves anyway. I chopped my mother plant right back after air-layering the top again, as she got really bare at the bottom. She's even grown a little pup. I adore this plant, and it's definitely worth its place in your top 5. I can't wait to see yours in a year 😁 My current top 5 plants are my Philodendron Mayoi now that its leaves are maturing, the same with my Philodendron Golden Dragon, which is just such an easygoing Philo. Then my Alocasia Metalhead, which is growing into a real statement plant with huge, dark, metallic leaves. And the last two are two of my big leaf hoyas; the Hoya Sp. tanggamus and the Hoya Sp.Glabra. Both of these are really taking off, and the amount of leaf growth has really surprised me. Also, they've made my top 5 because it's like they don't even know it's winter 😂 Oof, and that new veitchii leaf is spectacular 👌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💚
