Wow what a awesome collection! Monstera deliciosa was my first house plant 4 years ago, and after collecting so many, I’ve realized monstera makes me most happy. I would love a video about your care for monsteras (substrate, lighting, fertilizer, etc.) and also your experience with growing them indoors ;)
You have some very beautiful monsteras, I didn’t realise these was so much variety! I only have a deliciosa but have many other house plants. Look forward to watching more of your videos 😊
@@SiaLaterPlants I currently live in the Canary islands but i worked 10 years in Barcelona, its a beautifull place. Contact if you travel again to Spain! 😀
Hi Josh! It was great to see you in person. Welcome to the TH-cam world! Your passion for Monstera really shines through, and it’s awesome to see someone sharing their love and knowledge about these beautiful plants. Your first video was fantastic-great job for a first attempt! I’m excited to see more content from you, especially tips on propagation and care. Your expertise is sure to help a lot of Monstera enthusiasts out there. Keep up the great work, and I’ll definitely reach out if I have any questions. Looking forward to your next video!
I have never thought about growing plants next to my bed. Great idea! But honestly now that I think of it.. I don’t think I’d get to sleep. At all. I’m kinda obsessive about my plants. I keep my plants in a greenhouse in the back yard (zone 8B) and I randomly think about my plants and go out there 2-3 times before I actually get to bed. That’s the problem LOL. The west has a lot of Plantitos and Plantitas. I’m seeing a huge surge in us coming out of the shadows into the world of social media.
@@KuyaCraig yea! It’s so soothing for me to have them in my sleep space. Although I do tend to keep the lights on for longer and stay up a bit on my phone 😆
Ooooh could you do a similar video for your orchids? I loooved this video and was SHOCKED it was your first video!! Also are you into platycerium at all?
@@georgiapeach9263 yes!! Orchids were my first plant passion. I’ve always loved the mottled leaf Phalaenopsis and they remind me of the Philippines 😊 I love Platycerium too. The dwarf varieties are so cute. I’ve stepped away from them to pursue more Monstera, but I hope I can get more soon!
Good day, sir, and welcome to TH-cam 😊 thank you for your tour, your collection is #goals However, living in NZ makes it extremely difficult to get hands on anything fresh new... If you're impatient person move to new zealand 😅
@SiaLaterPlants my comment vanished 😅 In stores currently - thai con and albos (sometimes, released this winter passed). In collections - kunzo mint, burle marx flame, Brazilian common form (from the rarer side)... Haven't seem anything 'new-ish' from latest releases in Thailand being brought here - it's extremely expensive to import... So people usually wait for the nurseries to obtain tc.. Ppl here also prefer philodendrons, scindapsus, pothos, hoya and anthuriums...
Hi there, I’m curious to know if these names are just made up for them. I can’t seem to find any information about these names online. I’d really appreciate it if you could shed some light on this.
@@mymy1113 hey there! This is a really good question. A lot of these names are pretty new and were given by collectors overseas. A lot of them are so new that there isn’t any documentation on them online. For example, the ones I call Jade Goblin and Arctic Lava have only been shared with one or two other people ever. I haven’t had an opportunity to detail them extensively online. All varietal names are “made up” to an extent, some are just more common than others.
