Working in a shoe retailer I had the opportunity to speak with some ON representatives and the thing that impressed me the most about those shoes was that they have the Swiss flag on them 🇨🇭(on the right shoe to be precise). If you don’t know, Switzerland is very protective of their image, so putting the nations flag on your product means that a certain level of quality has been certified by the Swiss government. That’s a thing to be proud of.
True story. I once got a pair of ON running shoes. They were THE most comfortable runners I ever wore. So easy to run in and I never had any issues with my knees (both are shot).. and I love the Roger Federer tennis shoes they did too. But you see ON sneakers everywhere these days, worn mostly by mums on the school run and dudes running around the streets. Their marketing is working to a point.
@@glynnb6572 What top 10 brand hasn’t trickled down to mom’s??? It’s a quality shoe that’s extremely popular right now. Are you saying they are overproduced and you wish they were more exclusive?
I wear On( Cloudmonster and Cloud 5) at work. On my feet for nearly 10 hours a day and they just work very well. Pricy but worth it that my feet and legs don't feel gassed at the end of the day.
@@christopherdiaz1350 I'm an RN on my feet ALOT. I weigh 250lbs and Cloudmonsters SOOOO much better for comfort and support then the Cloud 5s. Both feel like no negative pressure on ANY part of the foot and they are in a perfect fit to every part of the foot.
Was looking to see if you had reviewed this shoe, and of course nightwing is on it! Didn't realize she had been marketing these. I'm going to try to grab these. Great channel with REAL authentic content. Great work, you 2.
On's becoming more popular since multiple tennis champ Roger Federer's name association with the brand, he's literally put down money to invest in the brand being Swiss and all. Also On Clouds quality and technical innovation with their foam chemistry seems to have improved from previous generations. The running, trail, hiking community and their word of mouth is what makes On Cloud, Hoka, Salomon and other new brands being passed around and getting popular to casual wearers since running shoes are a lot more comfortable on a day-to-day basis than anything from Air Jordan.

Its a solid city walking shoe. I grabbed a pair in March for a trip and Disneyland vacation, they were a lifesaver. Brand is blowing up in my area (North Texas) with upper class athleisure types. As long as you are planning for a chill day on concrete, these are great. If you tried to run or ball... good luck.
I used to think On were overrated, but after taking a gamble on the cloudsurfers, with the cloudtech phase, its my favourite everyday shoes. Whether for running or walking, i love it!
Here literally to support the channel I love so dearly and at the same time learn about the brand that I see all around me but never bothered to look into 😇
Glad to see you doing a different brand and giving them the same treatment as Nike, Jordan, adidas. Hopefully someone is watching from the brand and takes notes.
I’ve seen a lot of your videos. I appreciate all the information and insight mixed in with humor, dialogue between you and (your wife). As well as the question of the day which is off topic and also quite amusing (but that’s the point). However, for this particular review I’m especially grateful to you. I recently bought from Bloomingdale’s a pair of ON’s. My mother has a credit card from that store. I’m out of work and been out of work for a while now due to various physical/other ailments caused by having Covid for months in a row back in 2020 (such as exhaustion, brain fog, pain in my feet, body spasms, and a diminishing eye sight). It’s kind of frightening to experience your body deteriorating and knowing it will get worse. It’s also frustrating to know that what I am experiencing was not the experience of my family members that did get Covid. Not to say I wish my maladies on anyone, yet, I wish when I told them or anyone else for that matter what I’m going through on a daily basis that nothing can cure it, I wouldn’t be looked at as if I’m making things up. I’m 44 years old and feel like I’m in an 80 year olds body. It’s terrible! Getting back to the point. The pair of ON (Cloudmonster) I ordered and should receive on Thursday (6/27/24), I was wondering how they would be for me as I also developed bone spurs on both my pinky toes, both heels and on top of the metatarsal’s of the top of my feet. So walking around in many of my sneakers is uncomfortable for me and I actually have to put on corn pads on the pinky toes to be able to wear sneakers now. I wish I had the means to go see a podiatrist to see if foot surgery would correct/do away with that problem so I can enjoy wearing sneakers again. In fact, the bone spurs protrude so much I need to double up on corn pads. It’s so aggravating. Seeing this review you did on the ON’s was incredible for me. Thank you for taking all the time you did and the research as well. I am disappointed that so many high priced sneakers (i.e. Jordan, ON’s) have such poor quality insoles. I initially ordered HOKA’s but sadly they run a half size small and my usual size of 12 mens were tight and they only had size 13 and not 12.5 available. I can’t wear sneakers that fit big or my feet will hurt a lot. I had ordered two different kinds of HOKA’s to see which would be more comfortable for me as I can’t be on my feet for two long nowadays. The two were (HOKA Clifton 9 & Bondi 8). The Clifton 9 in my opinion just trying it on and standing up with them on were more comfortable. The Bondi 8 design mold on the inside where the insole is located pressed into the sides of my feet and it bothered me but the cushioning was very good. So the Clifton 9 would be the one I would go with but of course since I didn’t walk in them or wear them for more than a minute I couldn’t know for sure. It’ll be cool if you did a review of both because most people doing reviews say every pair is great and worth getting and I simply don’t trust them. I actually think you are doing these reviews because you want people to know about the shoe, it’s comfort and wearability and if it’s worth getting them and not because you’re paid to say the shoe is great even though it’s not. So thank you for your integrity and care. Much appreciated. I am a fan of Jordans. Sadly, I can’t afford them. I recently saw the review of the Jordan 5 Olive (2024) and they are a pretty looking shoe. I wish I could get them. That scratch look on the suede is odd to me but overall I really like that specific color. It would go with a lot of color combinations in my opinion. Not sure if you would read this comment let alone reply but that aside, I want to say thank you again for your channel and the sneakers content you provide. God bless you, your wife and your entire family.
I love my On Cloudsurfers some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I've had Ultraboost, Nike Zoom Invincibles and they are up there with comfort.
Hi there. I'm looking to get the Cloudsurfers for work where I'm standing/walking most of the time. How have they been for you far and do you think they'll work for standing for long periods?
@@zaheerjogiat7888 They have been amazing the first week I got them we took a family trip to Orlando and did Disney and Universal I was so happy to be wearing them for 20 thousand plus steps those days
I bought a pair of of cloud eclipse, wore them for 2 days and realized that as long as I was walking it was comfortable. The moment I stood in place for too long, the bottom of my feet started to hurt. I ended up giving them away. I’m now going to try Hoka to see if it’s any better. I tried them with my custom orthotic and one from move and it got worse. I personally am hard pressed to try ON again.
Nothing beats all day comfort for me than the New Balance 991, 992, and 993. Standing, walking, whatever. And they don't look all bulbous and foamed out. These huge foam midsoles that are en vogue these days are kind of ugly tbh. Like there are no good looking Hokas imo, people buy them because of how they feel, not how they look.
If your foot hurt when you stand up for a prolonged time, then you might wanna get away from soft foams like the Cloud Eclipse, your foot muscles are weak need more firm like the one he’s reviewing in the video, or some Asics
How do these fit? Womans I wear 39 in eur sandals but 8.5 in most sneakers like sketchers etc. Do they run short as I see other reviews mention for On. Thanks.
I am a big fan of On shoes, I have the Cloud 5's and they are perfect for when I know I will need to be on my feet for an extended period of time or will be walking around a lot. So they have become my go to travel shoe, highly recommend.
I saw a coworker wearing ON shoes and got curious, they were not very common, one day I found a pair in store (not my size) and tried them, the feeling was so good but again they did not have my size, ended up ordering online and now I have several pairs, they are my almost every day shoe, for running, gym training, walking, working, traveling.
I’ve been wearing ON sneakers for almost 2 years now. I own 2 pairs and they are the most comfortable pair of sneakers that I own. I work in retail so I am standing for the entirety of my 8 hour shift. ON and ECCO are 2 brands that have helped reduce pain in my knees.
I’ve had a few pairs of On shoes over the last few years, and they are pretty good shoes overall. I’ve also noticed on and hoka are everywhere especially where I live in the south.
Thanks for the great review! I noticed the lace isn’t long (you can’t adjust it later on like normal laces) and doesn’t come with extra lace. Wondering if that could be an issue/become too loose after wearing and tearing for some time?
fun fact: On Cloud X is the one that gets me into sneaker world. knew nothing about shoes until I met my first love. now I love all kinds of sneakers but On will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
Just got them and I’m liking them. Quite comfortable and fits true to size even for a wide footer. The only complain I have is that only a couple of boutiques or stores have them here in Spain and yes they have bad insole but still comfy
I have picked up a pair this week. They are super comfy. Haven't had such a comfortable shoe in ages. I have tried the Nike Airmax, but this ON pair comfort level is something else.
I have a cloud flyer waterproof and a cloud monster. I like them both, but the cloud runners are the winner between the two. Very comfortable, and it gives a bouncy feel for running, if you're into that.
There was a time when this sort of combination of "cushioning and kinetic propulsion" tech concept was the "futuristic" in thing to do in footwear. The first was Adidas with their SPRINGBLADE, then after this came the "iterations" such as New Balance's ZIP, KSwiss's TUBES, and then On's CLOUD- which is pretty much the only one who stuck with this concept and just kept running with it.
Im going Justice League all day. My favorite superhero is Batman, but all the Justice League has to do is send in the Flash at top speed and the Professor X wouldn't get a chance to think of what to do before the Flash got to him.
Holy shit dude. I just got these in. They’re one of the most comfortable shoes, straight out the box, that I own. These things are great for all day wear. Love my On Cloudtilt
She’s so beautiful ❤️ I’d like to rock her signature but then again those look like I shop at Whole Foods and walk up/down escalators that are already working
I have a pair of On Surfer 7's which I believe were the first ones they introduced the cloud tech phase on. i’ve had them for about 3 to 4 months. I can say that the rubber on the bottom does look pretty thin but so far doesn’t really show any wear. The exposed foam however it does show a little breakdown but overall still going strong. I wear them as daily casual shoes and my as running shoes. so far I love them though next time I’ll probably get the eclipse so that I’m not feeling as much road when running. Overall, their a super comfortable shoe and I would take these over brooks.
Shoutout DSG, I agree with the annoying reset featuring 99% of the On models on two separate parts of men’s/women’s, with no discernible difference presented between models to the average customer.
1:55-1:56 giggity. But seriously tho I got my first pair of On's from a Marshalls here in Ontario for discount (On cloud 5) and its now my beaters over boost or my peg 39's so its good to see it getting represented here!
Big fan of On! Have a pair of Cloud 5 Push, and two pairs of Cloudsurfer 7s. The surfers in particular have the most comfortable fit and feel of all the Ons in my opinion.
used to dismiss On shoes as overhyped and gimmicky, but the Cloudflow 4s are my most worn shoes now - super compfy but not in a pillow way, in a lightweight supportive way.
On are great, however once they’re worn in, they ALL SQUEAK, it’s due to the strength of the rubber compressing over time and rubbing together to create a squeak inside the holes, very comfortable though
Popular brand over here in the UK. Mainly on the feet of runners & gym goers. The tennis/lifestyle offering is somewhat popular too given Federer moved over from Nike some years ago.
don't they make super thin insoles suppose so you'll be closer to the specialty foams, like on the Nike invincible or adidas ultra boost? the thick insole takes away from the those specialty midsole foams
Zendaya is lucky that the shoes they made in her name was given cloudtec phase cushion. This phase cushion is really freaking good, my cloudsurfers are more comfortable than cloudmonster i got few months before and they are actually cheaper than cloudmonster plus they are on sale a lot of times here and there.
I have these Cloud Tilts, super comfortable and i will be wearing them on vacations etc from now on because air max's feel like cinderblocks after a few hours. I also walk for exercise with these.
i have a pair of ON sneakers. ON CloudVenture. very comfy & squishy for wearing the whole day.

I got a pair of ON's second hand but basically new (too pricey for me) and I love them. I got their trail running variant but it's very versatile, I wear them to walk around everywhere as a replacement for my ultraboosts, they aren't quite as squishy as ultraboosts but they are still very comfortable and give more than enough compression for long walks/runs. If you can get a pair for a good price they are totally worth it imo.
Tried this brand a while back. The initial comfort wore out and the uppers got really dirt and ruined the look really quickly. These ones look pretty good, bit I wouldn't trust them again.
I Work at a specific store and what’s great is always being able to try on these shoes. cloudsurfer and cloud monsters imo are the comfiest from the on brand.
Seeing nightwing review the these as I’m looking into a pair made me happy. Working in finance, this is the shoes everyone hops into after work to go out (not this model yet since it’s new). Might grab a pair n attempt to replace my daily ultra boosts
Federer actually became a minority owner in On since they’re Swiss and so is he. The Cloudtilt debuted last year as an exclusive collab with the luxury brand Loewe too. Now they rolled it out to a GR model and the Loewe partnership has a new season of these as well.
I was curious about On for a while, so I ordered these on a sleepless night scrolling on IG. (Apparently didn’t notice how overpriced they were.) While the lacing system was convenient, I just couldn’t get used to the feel/look of the Swiss Cheese midsole, so back they went.
the could 5 is definitely great, since I love J1 low OG, reebok club C and many other brick style midsole... cloud 5 is just that firm yet lightweight with a great structure... wear them all day in many trips now
I work at a big box grocery store with a predominately white, middle to senior aged demographic and I swear nearly everyone that comes in to shop is wearing one of the many iterations of On Clouds. I’ve asked a few people about the appeal and have been told they’re the most comfortable shoes they’ve ever worn… ever.
Long time watcher, first time commenter. This specific show (On cloud tilt) is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever had after years of collecting. Always loved react/zoomx, and then tried these on and needed them. I think they look nicer than a lot of comparably comfortable shoes. I always want the comfort of a runner with appearance of a casual shoe - this nearly does it
I'm taking the X-Men. As Chris mentioned, just having Prof X and, also Jean Grey, and they can pretty much control the whole JL. Unless all DC members wear Magneto-esque helmets to shield themselves from telepathic attacks
I need to try On for casual use ! But for running, I'm a fan since last year with the amazing Cloud Stratus 3 and Cloud Eclipse and this year with the Cloud Monster Hyper . All great and very addictive shoes to use for running.
On's regular shoes are basically as light as other brand's "pro" versions of running shoes with the added benefit that the foam doesn't wear out after a few months.
@@zoelfikarrp I feel so, and especially people that have work for which they need to stand all day, can notice the difference.
@@Jeren6924 Hi! How are they doing now? Did they wore off?
Can you review the white Tyshawn 2’s?
They look so sick!
I’ve been wearing the men’s cloud tilts for the last 4 months. The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. They look stylish too!
You got me excited! How are they now? I really wanna buy a pair im just afraid if they will last me a long time
1:55-1:56 giggity. But seriously tho I got my first pair of On's from a Marshalls here in Ontario for discount (On cloud 5) and its now my beaters over boost or my peg 39's so its good to see it getting represented here!
These do look good! I am curious about them, but they do not seem readily available in Holland.
Can you do a review on the 590. ON model ? I also was trying to figure out which model has the most cushion. Thanks.
I have this exact shoe. Bought it months ago. Great shoe! So so comfortable. Got the blue color way
Hey chris, On Cloudtilt or Nike Vomero 5?
Big fan of On! Have a pair of Cloud 5 Push, and two pairs of Cloudsurfer 7s. The surfers in particular have the most comfortable fit and feel of all the Ons in my opinion.
Love you guys so I support it
used to dismiss On shoes as overhyped and gimmicky, but the Cloudflow 4s are my most worn shoes now - super compfy but not in a pillow way, in a lightweight supportive way.
They look pretty comfortable. Zendaya is smart at investments
On are great, however once they’re worn in, they ALL SQUEAK, it’s due to the strength of the rubber compressing over time and rubbing together to create a squeak inside the holes, very comfortable though
Whelp I'm glad I'm subbed to the channel. Very informative
I had no clue these were Zendaya's design, tried them on at Footlocker and they were comfy so I bought them.
Loved the comfort of On Running. Also, Roger Federer not only was poached by On from Nike, but is now a major stakeholder of the company.
I have these Cloud Tilts, super comfortable and i will be wearing them on vacations etc from now on because air max's feel like cinderblocks after a few hours. I also walk for exercise with these.
Great stuff. They are the Jordans of the over 40 crowd. Speed laced ones make for some nice enough beaters
i have a pair of ON sneakers.
Took the On Cloudmonster for a 12mi run, and not too fatigue at the end, great shoe!
Yo you gotta try the cloud monster. They just had a collab but that doesn’t matter the cloud monster is amazingly squishy
Tried this brand a while back. The initial comfort wore out and the uppers got really dirt and ruined the look really quickly. These ones look pretty good, bit I wouldn't trust them again.
Great review
I Work at a specific store and what’s great is always being able to try on these shoes. cloudsurfer and cloud monsters imo are the comfiest from the on brand.
Really wanted a pair of On's but the cloudsurfer squeaking issue turned me off the brand. Unacceptable issue for the price their shoes go for.
I appreciate the review bro I'm tired of seeing the same Jordans over and over keep bringing more reviews like this
I have a pair of cloudmonster and i love them. If you can get a hold on the On x Loewe collab shoe, it would be awesome for you to review them.
the could 5 is definitely great, since I love J1 low OG, reebok club C and many other brick style midsole... cloud 5 is just that firm yet lightweight with a great structure... wear them all day in many trips now
I work at a big box grocery store with a predominately white, middle to senior aged demographic and I swear nearly everyone that comes in to shop is wearing one of the many iterations of On Clouds.
Great review! I was curious about these, even though I don’t like the looks…I’m going with X-Men 💪🏾
I like On quite a bit. I have several pairs, and my favorites are the On x Loewe Cloud tilts.
ON has been on my radar for a while now. Curious on how they are as runners.
With Nike Invincible 3 and Asics Nimbus 26 who's most comfort? still on cloud?
On's regular shoes are basically as light as other brand's "pro" versions of running shoes with the added benefit that the foam doesn't wear out after a few months.
@@neliz2k so on is more comfort than nike invincible 3 and asics nimbus 26?
@@zoelfikarrp I feel so, and especially people that have work for which they need to stand all day, can notice the difference. Imagine being a hairdresser and walking all day, I wouldn't know which other shoe offers the same cushion, Support, and longevity as on. I'm on my 5th pair after years of Boost and Air.
These are the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever put my feet in I’ve bought two pairs in two weeks and I’ve been collecting as well quite a long time I’ve never felt anything comfortable on my feet
I love my Jordan’s but sometimes, I need something more comfortable. I bought my first pair of on shoes this year and they are great for running and standing.
I see them all time people walking or jogging. They look super comfy!
QOTD: if you were in charge of product release for ANY company, which would it be and what would you release or rerelease?
Federer actually went to Uniqlo after Nike. Great video though. I want these :D
Feel like the gym community and sneakerhead community coming together a bit so this video works perfect imo 🤷🏽♂️💪🏽
When are you going to review NEW BALANCE? For example, any of the Action Bronson colabs?
Search New Balance on the channel and you’ll find New Balance reviews.
Can you do Hokas? The Bondi 8 & Cliftons
Great timing on this review! Just learned about this sneaker yesterday and wanted to learn about it! Keep up the great stuff Nightwing!
Also...you forgot about Batman and Superman's greatest powers:
Plot armour and final hero status so ultimately I gotta pick the League.
Ive had my pair for over 2 years, and i definitely love them, man. I have a pretty nice shoe collection, and I'll say that some of my least popular shoes are always the most comfortable and practical. I can't wear any of my Js comfortably for a whole day.
great review
Sole looks like it has fiberglass in it?
