- I'll be doing a review on the Urgenex 600mAh battery for my FMS FCX24. Spent a few hours wearing out the batteries an adding scratches to the rig. Going to need a repaint pretty soon.

Question - What color should I paint it next? Pick any color, as long as it's black.

Nice shorty I love these batteries for my rc cars.
Great review and awesome run footage video brother! NICE WORK!!!
Thanks a lot man! Just so you know, you’re officially the first person to share my content. That’s super appreciated.
@@Papa_Shorty no worries man. We all here to support one another.
I love Urgenex batteries. I got them for my WPL as well
Hell yeah Papa!! Kick ass review and video bromigo!🤘🏻🤙🏻 I need a battery that size for my scx
Urgenex makes a 450 and 900mAh that fit SCX. These have connectors specific to FCX. I’ll do a review on the SCX batteries once I get them up and running.
@@Papa_Shorty I haven’t been able to find one the same size as the one you reviewed unfortunately they are either same size as stock or thicker🤣 I’m gonna look into some drone batteries with the 2.0 and see if I can finagle something. I def wanna get 3s for my new Slayer. Hope your doing good!
Nice review 😎
Thanks man
Great job dude and great vid
Nice!! Im going to have to get me a few of these! Im still using all the stock batteries on my minis!
I can’t complain. I’ve run them through the mill.
That blazer looks awesome dressed as a CUCV
I modeled it after a M1009 to be precise. The open bed version is the M1008. The K10 would be a good candidate for that version.
Great video buddy, and great battery company to deal with.
I bought a couple of their batteries years ago and they’re still rocking. They’re actually my go to when running my WPL rigs.
@@Papa_Shorty I’ve been using tge new 3s 2400 mah 50c batteries in my 1/10 crawlers and they’re great
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers that’s funny. I just got some urgenex 2400 3s with XT60 connectors in the mail today. How much runtime do you get from them?
These guys contacted me once a couple years ago, I think. They wanted me to buy the battery from Amazon, give it a review and then said they would partially refund my purchase price. It sounded like the biggest scam. Did Urganex approach you like that? Also 600 is effing huge! You should try the Spektrum 300 3s in that thing and see what it does!
The 3s would be too much for the direction of this build. Going the scale route. So ultra performance isn’t my goal. I’m not sure if the stock electronics could handle a 3s. No, urgenex didn’t approach me like that.
For some reason my k5 dies after only 2 minutes of driving even after i charged its battery for over 6 hours and i tried the same battery brand you have in the video and nothing works and i don’t know what to do
I’ll try my best to help you. I need to ask a couple of questions to help narrow down the issue.
Have you tried other batteries?
If you did try other batteries, what were the results?
Have you tried a different charger?
@@Papa_Shortyi have tried a different battery and charger but the same results for me
@@Papa_Shortyi figured it out turns out the batteries in the controller were bad so it would stop working every few minutes so thanks for the help
@@Zeta_9mole_rats That’s great news!!! I was going to ask if you tried the batteries on a different vehicle. Good to know you just needed a few triple A’s to fix the problem. I know I’ve spent a day or two troubleshooting this same problem in the past.
