I had a 79 CJ5 with Dana 60's on 39.5 x19.5 x 15 in Boggers with the small lugs cut off on the rear. TP 350, 700R4, atlas 2. Started quarter eleptic then switched to huge king coil overs. This was 20 plus years ago, pre wife and kids. 110 in WB on a CJ5, lol. Brake disk were even with the bumpers. A bad day of 1:1 crawling can cost thousands. RC is definitely the way to go budget wise. Plus you don't need a goose neck trailer and tow rig to go play.
Definitely see the Nor Cal style in that YJ. Make sense a fellow Sacramento resident built that. I grew up in the Jeep club and this is exactly what you would see running trails.
Would be cool to see that Jeep run with the three early Broncos you've reviewed. A recreation of a 90's Rubicon run. Those rigs were everywhere back then. All Jeeps, little Broncos and the occasional Toyota.
Had to re watch this one. I pieced together a mashigan body, paid almost as much as the RTR. Picked up an early Bronco second hand for a donor chassis, stretched the frame, and got some vanquish builder links to correct the wheel base. It's all in the mock-up stage right now. I'm going to put some Nor-Cal flavor on it. Oh, and I just got an early Bronco slider off eBay to preserve that early Bronco I just parted out. That really hurt, and I had to make it right.
I like the rc builds on the channel but seems like you don't know the names of the parts being used spent more time looking for the parts that are featured off the information you say expressly this video
Appreciate the time my guy!!! Enjoy the jeep and thank you for sharing the info for the ASD Crawl
Yes, my good man.

That yellow one looks a lot like eilos Jeep YJ wangler. Both beautiful Jeep's. Glad that I finally got my hands on a few of them.
he's actually the one who built it
Right on, that's Elios' jeep that he built
Wow, nice build. A running video of this rig would be fine.
One of these days you need to try out a NegativeG RC chassis. Thanks for the amazing videos, man!
Maybe one day! I'll be on the lookout.

Good video, but it isn't a cj, it is a yj.

I own 3 Tacomas :)
It's a YJ not a cj
