Hello Beautiful! I just started my loc (lovies🥰) journey in May 2022; I call my locs “lovies” and no ugly stage for me rather the utmost stage. I’m making it what I want it to be!
Congrats on your new journey 😍👏🏾 That’s such a cute name haha! I know that’s right, well I’m glad that you’re enjoying your journey so far! Hope they grow into some beautiful and healthy lovies ☺️ I appreciate you for tuning in 🌻✨
My hair began budding at 2 weeks! I couldn’t believe it and has been continuing to bud. I am 2 days short of a month with 3c to 4a hair😂! Your hair is so pretty!
This is awesome because I just started my Loc journey and I started with shorter hair as well. It will be 3 months in about two weeks and right now it’s all over the place because it itches really bad but a little witch hazel and olive oil does help me. I agree with you that it’s not an ugly stage, sometimes a bit awkward but not ugly. I was going to get Loc extensions but decided to let it grow with out any add ins. It’s growing nicely but when it gets longer, look out!!!!!
I may have to try the witch hazel and olive oil because I’m suffering with a dry scalp and itching myself! But it’s so awesome that you started your locs super short as well! I agree! When our locs starts to flourish, it’s over with!! Good luck on your journey dear ☺️❤️
Awww thank you! They will for sure and good luck on your upcoming journey, I hope you enjoy every minute of it 🥰🌻🌻 are you getting small or thick locs ?
@@thatguhkey3527 I was doing my research before August and my hair is a bit on the thin side, and I also have an undercut, so I was thinking medium locs and semi-freeform. Still researching though.
Honestly, it really depends on your length! This coils worked better for my length since my hair was very short and I think the 2 strand method work better for those with medium/long length hair.
Mine is even shorter and I'm supposed to wait 6 weeks before going back. Most are gone and the few that's left will be gone in 6 weeks I'm contemplating just forgetting it my hair is too short. I'm trying to hold on.
@@thatguhkey3527 no problem! I’m going to be starting my journey soon as well and my hair is about the same lengths but when I cut my hair it was a little tapered so I’m waiting for the back to catch up! I can’t wait and I am so happy to see your journey
I just started my love journey I’m excited I did
Congrats on your new journey ❤️ you will love it !
I'll be posting an 8 week loc update soon! Thank you for tuning in.

@@Maria-sg4zy Gotcha. Undercuts are super cute.
I think I have 4c as well. In my 1st month I was thinking I started locing and budding really quick , I guess it is the hard type that makes sense
And I started from the bottom too lmao never had long hair now I'm at 8 months. Enjoy the journey!
i be glade when i get dat long
I def still consider mine short af lol but your hair will get longer in no time. It just takes patience 💪🏾
I’m journaling it on my channel, at least trying to lol
Awesome! I’ll have to check out your channel also 😌
They're adorable 😍!
Thank you hun! 🥰❤️
Since you experienced trying both methods which one do you feel that’s better?

long does the gel starts to come out from starter locs
I think I understand your question. But I haven’t had any issues with my hair unraveling and my retwist last about 2-3 weeks with the loc gel.
Hey! How long was your hair when you started your locs?
Hey hun! I would say about 1 1/2 inches. (It was really short) Thank you for commenting 🥰
