Leave-in conditioner tends to leave build-up in my Locs. What do I do?

I just took out some faux locs and was gonna do some natural twist braids…but I wanted to start over my locs a while now but I had cut it flat then started cutting it tapered…but I came here for motivation and I changed my mind from the braid and I’m here doing some two strand on my short tapered cut, ima rock this with confidence

I’m about to try this on my locs. I am so excited thank you for sharing. When I first saw the braided bald head, I got sad because I started my locs back in December and I was like dang I would’ve really had tried that style. But then I just happened to come across your video. I have wanted to try to teach myself how to do the barrel twist anyway so because I have like super fun this is so ideal for my current length.

I love your locs. Its been about 2 months since my last retwist and i love the look!. I really dont like the fresh retwist look but i also know its time to do it. I put leave in condition on my hair as well and it does not leave any residue. Looking forward to seeing your fresh retwist. Im 16 months in.

has the tea tree oil been effective in reducing your scalp being itchy? i got tea tree oil recently and i got it to help reduce itchiness and dryness so that i can lengthen my wash days. (i wash almost every week bc my scalp gets dry and itchy😭)
