I just did starter locs on my son’s head about an hour ago and it turned out great. I always retwist locs but never start them. I got two heads on starter locs that I have to do so far already 😂
I thought this comment was funny cause my hubby expected a miracle too with thinning hair in the top..God was with me lol

I have started my loc journey several times without being able to commit... finally after much soul searching and watching your video.... ive decided to just do it myself:)
My 14yr old wants locs on top of hair only. Don’t want to pay for him to get his hair done, so I’m here to learn how to get started. I learned to knit using TH-cam and that was one of the hardest things to learn. If I can do that I can learn to start his locs. Praying I came to the right video!!

I just started having starter locs 3 days ago. I maintain them by using Argan Oil Foaming Mousse and Oil Sheen everyday when I wake up. I also sleep with a durag and bonnet. What kind of hair growth oil should I use on my starter locs?

When should they do a retwist ? .Do you then lock the hair that time ?

I do use the eco styler gel for retwists and I use other things also
Wow this was an EXECELLENT video. I have comb twists/ coils with sides and back shaved. I wish I did not shaved them. I loved the results ad a protective style. Until I decide if I want to lock or not.

I have this type of hair, but how do you know when you have enough for starter loc mini's? I've been growing mine for four months and it looks similar to his, it's thick and I can grip it. But I don't know if it's enough for a loctician to grip. I'm thinking about waiting four more months.

To dry out the locs, do you have to use a hooded drier or is there another way to do so without one?

Hey what setting do you use the dryer on to dry the locs?
So when starting yull always want to wash the hair and so the locs while damp?

Ok ,hello. I have a question, and my question is, I hear some hairstylist say that we shouldn't use gel because it can cause build up, but I see you use a lot of it (not judging you).
