Good and complete review. For that amount of money you will get an old known brand but with way less features. It's a very good option to take into consideration as newbie: small engine capacity, light weight, good handling and small fuel consumption, less than a maxiscooter.
Thanks for the reviews Alex. I am thinking about getting myself one of these as a daily commuter as I only travel 20km per day to work and back home. My only concern is I am 188cm and 120kg. The 310T might be a better option for me but I really love the look of this one. Or maybe I should wait to see if the 350X comes to South Africa next year, for that little extra power it provides. Friends are telling me to rather buy a 2nd hand Honda NC700/750 at 3/4 the price but one doesn't know how those bikes have been treated so I prefer the new 310X.
The space and sitting position is the same on the X as on the T. So if you are comfortable on the T you will be just as comfortable on the X. In terms of the NC750, it's a very good bike but what i always say with a new bike you have warranty, with a second hand bike you're on your own. You decide what's more important to you
What did you land up with Darren? NX or Zontes - also in SA trying to figure this out.
Zontes is upgrading their cc of 310 to 350, not sure the differnce of both 2, hope you can have a chance to review as well..more power.
I don't think will be getting the 350 before winter. So currently not worrying about it :))))
The most beautiful bike of the zontes series. Glad they got rid of the yellow exhaust. Now to replace the yellow color of the steering wheel...

Yes they did, but in most of Europe the 350cc models will be available in 2023

hello alex,i am thinking of buying the 350 x2 to commute to work and be able to go for some trips around the summer and maybe the weekends.I dont like adventure styled motorcycles so much do you think that this will be a good choice?Do you have another recommendation for me?
For what you say you're going to do with it, it would be a good fit. In terms of other options I don't know of any to offer as much tech and big bike gadgets for such a low price and in the 300cc market. Most 300cc bikes from other manufacturers are pretty bare bones and none as touring oriented.
Guys, own one. If you in your 30, the power is not enough. Even for the first motorcycle, it’s too little. Yes options is super great. ABS, keyless, TFT, TPMS sensors, great wheels, electronics, all super great but you get bored after first 1k km
It depends what you`re looking for. Some people don`t want faster then 90-100 km/h

Well, I fell in love with 350X from the very moment I first saw it. I'm the one of those who don't like the way the T/T2 looks (and all the ADV concept false terrain bikes), and this would be my first choice, but...
I'm 188 cm tall, 115 kg heavy, and generaly I got concerns wether could I ever drive it with a load (my wife and a topcase)...
Also, did you try it with a highway touring speed of some 120 km/h, and what about the vibrations? It's single cilinder 310/350 ccm, as I far as I could see in some other videos (India) the vibrations get pretty high already at 110 km/h, after some 1h of driving I guess they would become unbearable.
What do you think about theese two issues?
Otherwise, it's a beautifull bike, and with some twin cylinder 550-600 ccm engine would be best of the best. I was looking forward to this year's EICMA for some new version of X, but it looks Zontes left it for good.

It could carry the weight just fine but yes after 110km/h the vibrations get pretty acute.
@@RideWithAlexIt's OK if they are acute, but what I'm actually affraid of is wether they become unbearable in any moment after some time of riding? You know, this should be a small tourer after all, which means you can make a tour riding at 120-130 km/h highway speed for at least 2-3h.
I'm sure it could withhold a speed, but what with rider's comfort?
@@TribunPopuli you have to try it for yourself the riding position is comfortable but it's a bit buzzy for my taste.
Would it handle some offroad. I have the 310x and i did take it offroad and it handled well but idk if its healthy for the bike in general or it would be yhe same as the T?
It's the same suspension as the T so it's ok
What is the difference in fuel tank between X1 and X2?

In your review of the T2 you quoted two weights, both of which were 20-30kg more than the 160kg you state for the X2. I have a ZT310-T and to me it feels heavier than 160kg, but how can the T be so much heavier than the X? Has anybody actually weighed any of these bikes properly?
tbh i think the X is more then 160kg, the zontes weights are very all over the place, in the hand wet and ready to ride feels like 180-190kgs although i didn't have the opportunity to actually put one on the scales.
Nice video, I don't know how will quality be in 3 years and dealership is not wide in most countries. is it similar to kawasaki 300 versys or kTM 390 adventure?

Those are small adv bikes, I don't know what to say if it is similar. All I can say is that it's well made and for the price comes with a lot of bells and whistles that the others don't. Oldest one I've ever seen was a 3 year old T1 and it looked and ran great. How will they last after 10 years, only time will tell :)
@@RideWithAlex thanks for your quick comment, in my country the netherlands costs around €6000 and KTM 390 €1000 more so is it wise and worth for money to buy these? KTM 390 or Honda cb500x are €1000 more expensive
@@petroosabdollahian1648 I would suggest going and seeing them all for yourself in the dealership and maybe test ride them, honestly I would save the 1000e and put it into fuel for roadtrips :)

This bike looks great! I have only one question, is it good for taller people like 1.90 cm or do I look too big on it?
You will have to try it out in a dealership, for me at 175 it's good and i haven't had many tall riders try it out, so i can't say for certain.
My friend was sit on my 310x. He is 197cm, looks good and feel himself comfortable

I live in a town that the roads aren’t best there is some puddles , do you think I should skip on this bike because the driving will not be comfortable because of the post or no?
Maybe you should look at the T2 if the roads are not that good.

The ADV 150 is not available here in Romania so I can't get my hands on one and the dash I have no idea where to start to swap it out, for this you need someone with deep knowledge of electronics. Yes, it's euro 5, top speed should be around 160km/h

A bit of smoke and condensation, the bike is brand new (leșs then 2-3km on the odometer) and it's still needs it assembly oil to burn away.
