I use to play every single zelda games from a link to the past to twilight princess ... I was tired of these games always feeling similar and i ad switch to Skyrim and zelda breath of the wild ave revitalize my love for the franchise! Finaly something different and all these mistery and lore video really remind me of what i use to like about Skyrim and the countless amount of channels dedicated to it .... Now if Breath of the wild woud allow me to create my OWN characters from the race i want and allow me to play however i want as a mage for exemple the zelda franchise woud be even better for me atleast .... Magic is deep in the world of zelda but we never ad the chance to play with Magic all we ave is magic item but no spell or anything i want to throw fire ball without the need of a bow >_

Those little statues are most likely based on Japanese Jizo statues. They are commonly used to grieve miscarried or aborted babies, essentially a way of paying respect to souls that didn't get the chance to be born. Jizo statues are often honoured with hats, scarves, toys or snacks which help the children stay comfortable on their way to the afterlife. The little dishes with apples or eggs in front of them seem to strengthen this connection. This gives the game a creepier dimension since these little statues show up all over Hyrule but are basically constant reminders of death. A random theory off the top of my head would be that the cluster of statues is a graveyard for the Kokiri from OOT, who are notably children that never grow up. The evil one might actually be Link who was the lone outsider that unintentionally led to their demise with his actions (downfall timeline). The statue puzzles are also often linked with Koroks, which indicate some connection with the Kokiri/Deku Tree.

Anyone else curious how Selmie got her hands on that Royal Guard Shield over her fireplace? As for the painting... could it be a Loftwing flying towards the user? I mean, Loftwings are on a lot of ancient Hylian architecture, so that would make sense to me. Also, when it comes to the weird statue field (and the random weird statues you find Koroks near), I find it odd that they seem so masculine by comparison to confirmed Hylian statues (the goddess statues) and Sheika Statues (the frogs). It's also weird that the Koroks seem to hide around so many of them, and how they all have a unibrow, three spots on their chins, and appear to be wearing some sort of cloak and hood (unless that's a crown?). They're super weird, and I hope we learn more about them some day lol.

there are several npcs that mention either themselves or others used to be able to go the castle hunting for treasure, but since ganon's reappearance at the start of the game, its become too dangerous to go back there. So Selma was either crazy enough or knew someone who was that went there and found the shield before it became too dangerous.

Well rhoam calls the temple of the time the "birthplace of hyrule". If you switch where the plateau and lost woods' locations, he'd be correct. It would not be far from the forgotten temple at all. In fact the distance would be comparablly close in skyward sword. That random tree growing on the wall in the forgotten temple? The loftwings etched in the stone wall? Also typhlo ruins is the only place i think that has bird statues remincent of skyloft. In fact theres a big bird statue in that references the statue with the missing eye crystal in the ruins. Starting to see what i mean? And that cave where the chamber of resurrection is and the path to the right leading to alcove when you first walk out... All that is very very similar to skyloft's cave, where it exits out to where you find your loftwing. Even the alcove is almost the exact same size.
Tupelo ruins is surprisingly very detailed and there's a video with the darkness removed that shows what it really looks like. In terms of the layout in skyward sword, it might be in roughly the same area as either skyview temple or the ancient cistern. After all, the darkness never lifts despite solving the shrine, so there's something still going on there we can't do anything about.

I tried that once. Turns out, the edges of the map aren't very interesting. After all, you're not intended to spend a lot of time there, as they're just there to be a "buffer zone" before the impassable barrier that surrounds the land. I think the most exciting landmarks are two of the three leviathan skeletons, other than that the space is fairly empty and uninteresting.

You can see that marking from the back of the forgotten temple, go to the shrine and look at the top of the archway in front of you. At first you thin it's a smudge or smoke marks, but when you look at it, it looks a lot more like a loftwing in flight. I can See the OoT Ganon in the white markings now Big arms, Big scimitars, Hoof legs, but the darker outline is what caught my attention, particularly the way it stretches out so far.

Look well enough and you'll realize it's the same place. The tree still exists there, up on the wall--the only greenery in the entire ruin that's not moss or mold, but all that's left of the original sealed temple are the columns and goddess statue nearby--the chunk of skyloft that fell right over it like a perfectly fit glove. Switch lost woods and the plateau around and suddenly rhoam calling the temple of time the birthplace of hyrule makes far more sense as it would be much closer to the forgotten temple. People have since found out that the plateau is the remains of oot's castle/town.

I didn't think too much about Kilton in BOTW itself, mainly because he just seemed like he was there for the "creepy weirdo" quota. But then Age of Calamity makes a reference to him, and it's basically spelled out that it's the SAME Kilton. So he'd be way over 100 years old but still looking middle aged? What has studying monsters done to him?
The "Ganon painting" you showed looks more like the classic version of Ganon, as a giant pig-man, than it does Ganondorf to me. The version in the sequel trailer, however, looks VERY similar to Windwaker Ganondorf.
