One of my favorite scenes in the show. I love when the series just pauses for a bit and shows just how passionate these girls are about their craft. Just showing them absolutely loving what they do. Ritsu falling in love with drumming all over again is a close second.
They even address it in the show that Yui is actually quite talented. Like, how she is able to pull off certain techniques without even knowing what they are. Besides, while being quite the airhead, she's actually pretty dedicated when it comes to her guitar and the light music club. So yeah, that's why she's able to make such progress.
Watching this makes me regret not trying to learn new stuff back in highschool with new people such as musical instrument, sports or random clubs. Just like k-on I could've made friends with amazing people who like those things they are passionate about.
After all this year with all the new Girl bands series emerging.. Yui Hirasawa playing her guitar alone in the empty light music room is still legendary. Even though they are not an idol group.
Yui is the most calm and happiest character in anime that I'll watch yui is the most perfect friend, if you have friends like yui you don't want to lose them😭❤️❤️
I discovered this anime beginning of middle school and now I’m fresh out of high school. This show will forever remain in my heart. K-on will always be #1.
Now you have a good reason to watch the entire series. At the very end you'll find yourself in tears of both joy and sadness. The second season is truly a masterpiece.
For all the people commenting that it pains them to see the fingers don't move on the fret, this video scene is LOOPED. While yui was playing this, there are many scenes showing the school and the students. She was only shown for a few seconds. Why do people throw hate so much and not just simply enjoy the damn music
It's _really_ hard to animate instruments, especially string based ones like guitars or electric bass. They probably looked at the budget and realized they had to pick either really good audio, or really good animation and chose audio since, well, it's a music anime. That Les Paul sounds so authentic and crisp, they probably recorded on the real thing. Recording every little audio thing they do on the instruments in the show and making it sound as good as it does probably wasn't cheap to pull off.
@@amideadyet268 Its the fact that this anime went HARD on production. The voice actors know how to play the instruments and actually sing the songs, which isn't very common. I think some of them had to learn how to play while in production. Which makes this show even awesome-er than it is. The animation is superb as well but that's Kyoto Animation for you 💘
This clip and version of the song always makes me feel emotional because to me, it feels like this is something Yui is doing in her past time, waiting for the next adventure that may never come since season 3 hasn’t been announced. It was beautiful and everything the series was about and all the future ambitions of this show and this band just hit on all cylinders. The drum flourish, the super quick cuts of the girls getting into the zone, the lights hitting the stage that fraction of a second after the song kicks in, Mio admiring then covering for Yui in the best depiction of a brain fart I've ever seen then, their inner monologue so in synch that it was played as a conversation, the song so simple and heart melting Mio and Yui singing like angels with the trimphant guitar lead soaring on top and lyrics saccharine but earnest, Ui clapping for her sister with pride, Azusa stretching on her tip toes to see the band. It all came together for me in that moment and all the fluff episodes I'd been writing off up to this point as cute girls doing cute things just snapped into place. An actual gibson one or an epiphone? im planning on buying an epiphone cuz god knows I cant afford a gibson xD maybe if I had mugi's eyebrows but sadly not
Fun fact: in k-on, the drummer, Tainaka Ritsu a.k.a ritsu-chan really wants Yui to join the band club (The light music club) since the club will be dismantled due to insufficient member clubs...and that’s how the show begin However,in BTR, Here’s the Nijika who also the drummer invites Hitori(Bocchi) to join the band since they need a guitarist... so i think that this is also one of the referrence that can be recognised😂
Okay, for all of you who are confused as to why Yui only uses 1 chord, it's because the video is edited, in the actual scene she does change chords and her hum is less audible (Thanks Kai 760 for the correction) I hope this clears that out, and thanks for watching this masterpiece of an Anime it means a lot to me, kinda, in a way
Yui's strumming isn't just a chord for わたしの恋はホッチキス (My love is a stapler); she’s playing the soundtrack to our memories. Oh what I would do to go back to 2011(I first watched it) and listen to this song for the first time again...

This is so refreshing to me. I watched k-on 9 months ago, the time when I still like anime. And now my life got 10x harder in span of 9 months lmao. Good thing to see this vid and took me back to memory lane
I love how people come back to listen to this again
well your right bruh
watching second season rn, damn i wish i had friends like them
@@littlepants5101 same
well.....it's the only thing that break lmao
This gave me so much nostalgia. K-on was not only my first anime, but it inspired me to play guitar.
Yui is so amazing..she doesnt need to change the chord to make a different sound
😂
they have a budget tho
This was the perfect way to start season 2. I have so much nostalgia for this scene
For those who doesn't know, this chord is called "One for All"
this is one of my favorite moments in anime history
Same 💖💖
if this was the last scene in the series i think i would've cried
She is so good that she tunes while playing the guitar
I like how she change the notes without moving her fingers.
That's how good she is at guitar lol
Really is very realistic
you do realise this aint the actual scene from the anime and that this is just a looped video of when she plays that chord
@@liamgalley-coulthard1701 And do you realize that I know that and i'm just joking?
@@findnamgames007 maybe that just sarcasm. Idk

This anime legit inspired me to start playing my guitar
That's really cute and wholesome, don't know why anyone would ever hate anime.

@@rushiabruh She probably has waaay too much fun,

I bought a guitar cause of it and now i have 2
Wow the comments are still alive,so happy that many people still loved K-ON!
i like how lots of ppl here pick k-on even though its an old anime
its a legend.

Love the angry fuwamoco profile pic btw @blaqstar
No Matter How Old I Am, I always like Increasing Health, Hydration, Water, and Hygiene
Watching thing like this give me inspiration to continue playing my guitar untill i become a pro. Nice video
guys pls calm down the animation was in a loop SKDJSJHDJD
the original video had scenes of the other band members while Yui played the guitar, in the real anime she would switch chords because.. this is Kyoto Animation we’re talking about
KyoAni and their details. They never miss
@@fernelle16 hope this gets pin or something so those people can stop complaining
As a non guitar player
She's so talented that she can play different chords in just one chord
the thing with her right hand is called a strumming xD
@@ilohoa No no no, that's called a fret bro
@@Crouton- i know the difference between a fret, the fretboard and strumming thank you xD i play ukulele and started guitar
@@ilohoa Oh shit, nice! hope your fingertips don't hurt too much. You should check out 7th chords after your done with your basic shapes, they're super cool.
@@Crouton- thanks for the advice! i just received my guitar today and played for idk 6-7h maybe 😂😂 but I really a strap asap because it's so heave 😭
And my hand is small so some chords are hard for me as F for example and using 4 fingers require to have length in fingers 😂
under appreciated riff, the solo delivers more of an emotional sound than the sound itself
The solo is better than the whole song
TH-cam algorithm magically bringing people together
Michael Angelo, same
I searched this out though:0
The scene this is from is what inspired me to try my hand at playing guitar again, and wouldn't you know it, my local music shop had a Les Paul Standard in red sunburst. It's an Epiphone, but I can't hear the difference. One day I'm going to finish learning this song and blast the amp outside.
i will be your fan
@@katayami31 We all.
Good luck with the police showing up at your door because of disturbance of the peace
Disturbing the peace, also known as breach of the peace, is a criminal offense that occurs when a person engages in some form of unruly public behavior, such as fighting or causing excessively loud noise.
How is your success today? Its so difficult for me now... Because these words sounds non melodic on my language... But we gave "Fuwa fuwa time", "Dont be lazy" and etc🐣
That's it I'm gonna start watching k-on
It’s good I’m currently on season 2
Yesss, it's so cute and the development is actually amazing 🥺
@@haku5152 make sure to watch the movie
Enjoy.
It's really fun tbh
I don't know why this solo gives to me a nostalgic feeling
My brother is a fan of yui and bought the same guitar that she has 8 years ago, now that he is busy working he gave giita to me
You’re lucky if its a gibson.
An actual gibson one or an epiphone? im planning on buying an epiphone cuz god knows I cant afford a gibson xD maybe if I had mugi's eyebrows but sadly not
@@rukiryo1488 it's an epiphone bro, gibson is waaay too expensive LOL
@@rukiryo1488 go for it, epiphone and gibson both make nice guitars but tbh you'll get more bang for your buck with the epiphone
Epiphone and Gibson are great brands, but i prefer Jackson and ESP/LTD more. They're great for heavy metal.
Forgot the song
The way she change chord without moving finger is legendary
Changing the tune by just applying her immense power
Fun fact: in k-on, the drummer, Tainaka Ritsu a.k.a ritsu-chan really wants Yui to join the band club (The light music club) since the club will be dismantled due to insufficient member clubs...and that’s how the show begin
However,in BTR, Here’s the Nijika who also the drummer invites Hitori(Bocchi) to join the band since they need a guitarist... so i think that this is also one of the referrence that can be recognised😂
K-on will never die and it brings a smile in my face to see how there doing in collage(I read the manga)
The best way to start season 2
Зачем начинать то что довно закончилось?
Okay, for all of you who are confused as to why Yui only uses 1 chord, it's because the video is edited, in the actual scene she does change chords and her hum is less audible (Thanks Kai 760 for the correction)
I hope this clears that out, and thanks for watching this masterpiece of an Anime it means a lot to me, kinda, in a way
The right word is "audible", I believe
Yup😌 when I heard this in the show I was like😧
Anime/show😁
@@Kai-pu9cb oh yeahhh that's the word thanks
Bruhh k-on’s ending made me more sad than any anime death
Wait until you see Yui's death
Yui's strumming isn't just a chord for わたしの恋はホッチキス (My love is a stapler); she’s playing the soundtrack to our memories. We are not reminiscing the music-we are reminiscing the person we were back then, carefree and full of naive optimism.
Oh what I would do to go back to 2011(I first watched it) and listen to this song for the first time again...
k-on got me interested in guitar
Bocchi the rock made me determined to learn guitar

Fr this is the first thing i really want to learn
