You are right to say that if Christ were just a man (i.e. only a man) that would be wrong. The statement you reference starts around 8:38. The context was talking about his appearing (Heb 9:26), how he would appear in his second coming to the earth (in divine glory), and how he appeared in his first coming to the earth. When Christ came (even as the baby in the manger) he was also the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col 2:9). He was not "just a man" in the sense that he emptied himself of deity, laid aside deity attributes, or changed or stopped being God in any way. He became a man, but he was also God manifest in the flesh. Thank you for listening closely and protecting the doctrine of the deity of Christ and his two natures.

That, I believe, is a strong reason to break fellowship with any congregation, if they will not repent of it.
What is imminent is that which follows immediately by signs that prophecy specifies (Mt. 24, Mk. 13, Lk. 17 & 21). Unless those signs begin to occur, the coming of Christ that should follow is not imminent. No signs precede the adoption of the Body of Christ because the program Jesus revealed to Paul is not a program of signs and wonders, but of faith without sight, physical suffering and patience, and waiting for the Son from Heaven which will change our vile bodies.
Heb 9:27-28: "And inasmuch as it is apportioned to men to die once, and after this, judgment, so also Christ, having been OFFERED ONCE in order to *bear the sins of many,* will appear for a SECOND TIME, *apart from sin,* to THOSE AWAITING HIM for salvation." (Berean Literal Bible) The second time, Christ will appear "apart from sin" meaning His coming will THEN have "nothing to do with" sin but with "salvation" FROM JUDGEMENT which is the literal "snatching away" in the RAPTURE, the "redemption of our bodies" (Romans 8:23).
PS: "Those AWAITING HIM" cannot be Israelites because those don't "await" Christ as they're not accepting HIM as their saviour in the first place (for the last 2,000 years) but someone else which we would call the Antichrist. Of course, Jesus will come for the Israel remnant at the end of Jacobs Trouble but without "AWAITING HIM" before.
How can a believer in Jesus be judged by God our redeemer? There no condemnation in Christ? To be judged by God we didn't do enough since we became Christian? Everyone will be judged then and the cross the power has lost its meaning. Paul said it wasn't a righteousness of his own but a gift Christ in us the HOPE OF GLORY. We cannot be judged according to the FLESH that would be our unregenerated man been judged who died with Christ Jesus and wasn't resurrected? If as a Christian you were judged less or more for you works of the FLESH it wouldn't be GRACE UNMERRITED UNDESERVED UNEARNED FAVOUR?❤

@@noelsetterington648 There are plenty of folks on this planet who say Christ and Jesus, who do not know what Jesus did for them or that don't know the gospel of Christ. You said how can a believer be judged, all in the body of Christ are judged, but not for their salvation, but rather the work they do after they are saved, did they study and learn how they are suppose to serve God and how and if so how did they perform their duties. Some works will be burned up, wood, hay, and stubble. Works they did rightly will be gold, silver, precious stones, in other words they receive rewards. There are different types of judgments, but those in the body of Christ are all saved forever. I think that depending on your rewards will determine how you are positioned in heaven to serve God after this life.

Our judgement is about Reward, gain or lose. The great white throne is a judgement to Hell
And why interpret Jesus coming as a future event? Jesus a predicted a imminent return in the lifetime of the apostle and believers......
