Working with Freefloe freefloe.com/f... to understand how their face shield design compares to typical face shields available to doctors. In this study we put the doctor in the intubation procedure position. CFD simulation was perform for different angles of cough to understand the amount of protection each type of face shield offers.

Could you do a video about how to do this fluid-particle-structure simulation?

    So cool

People breath, a sucking airflow pattern from the surrounding OPENING (small gaps between shield/mask and skin) in any form of shields (including face shields and masks) shall be put into consideration to this CFD simulation. Thus we will know that droplets (droplets -hanging in the air temporarily- can be sucked by an airflow right ?) are almost impossible to be prevented from seeping (through the above said small gaps between shield/mask to skin) into the shield/mask's internal area. Surprise....surprise... 😁

The face shield is meant to be worn with a mask to prevent that. The face shield is more of a splash guard kind of thing
