The intro FINALLY being a complete song, so well developed and showing how the rock influences goes onto DC sound is so so good. Everything else is amazing and expected from them, because they're amazing, but the intro made me so emotional. Also, you're so right for comparing it to Rush, and I would say also to Dream Theater. Prog rock vibes ftw.

Dongie got to do siyeons "fight" in the showcase, so we got to hear them all except Dami. But dami's raps are so good the whole album omg. Sua took over siyeons ad libs but yes it's siyeon on the recording instead of Sua. The comeback is such a vocal slay! Stomp's prechorus has me ascending omg

I love "Intro: 7' Dreamcatcher" -- might be my favorite intro! (Love this entire mini-album, as well.) I see the Rush similarity, but for me, it's totally a Pink Floyd vibe -- and the high-pitched piano chords remind me of the trailer to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that starts with Rey bundled up & salvaging scraps inside the ship.

The intro is soooooooooo beautiful! I stand by the sentiment that I want sheet music for the piano. It's giving Journey for real. Stomp is my fave b-side from the album. Fireflies is gorgeous, I am not a ballad person, so it's not gonna be like the most repeated or anything, but I definitely think it's a gorgeous song. The girls said that VirtuouS/VillainS is a duology, but they definitely opened up the concept of like parallel worlds and their universe being all connected and able to be traveled through. I am super curious where they're going from here.
I honestly think that the 8th person at the end might be Yoohyeon? Because we see her in the bridge in the light and glowing, like maybe she's being cleansed or something (she was corrupted in Deja Vu??)? And out of all the hair colors, I think it matches the most (it doesn't seem to be blonde to me, it seems like it's a color distorted brownish/reddish?). I did just read tho that Gahyeon says she doesn't know who the person is. We do see the black gloves throughout the MV as well - around someone's waist, in front of JiU's eyes, and then on the person who walks into frame at the end. There were gloves like that in I think.......BEcause???? I don't know! I am excited to see where we go next.
I'm so sorry but the intro to 2 Rings really got me like, "Now with 2,000 horsepower and 15,000 pounds of torque, to do your toughest jobs. Dodge." or "NOW! Only at the Home Depot." It's a great song, it's got such swag and attitude and the lives are fab, but I just cannot un-hear a truck or Home Depot commercial in that intro. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I also stick by my assessment that it's about a motorcycle.
The first harmony in fireflies sounds to me like Siyeon/SuA and the second sounds like Gahyeon/Handong to me.
At least we know where the additional producers came from (they did drums and guitar, IIRC, for Bon Voyage). Mad props to them for these instrumentals. And the one producer (I can't remember which one) is known for ballads, so we can thank him for Fireflies.

There is a lyric guide out there that highlights each member properly in their harmonies with each other. I saw another reactor channel use it in their video.
