Lou has got to see the most well cared, relaxed, loved, and at peace chihuahua I’ve ever seen. Love to see these temperate doggies living happy lives with such a wonderful family.
My little dog had reaction to rabies vac also. Very sick. Be sure your vet knows any time they want to give Lou that vac. My vet adjusted the shots after that and we've not had a problem. Just make sure each time you go for vacs that you remind the vet. Poor little Lou! Sending prayers to Lou to make her better. My dog was weak for awhile. Now fully recovered. Very scary! Love you Lou! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi I have a 4lb Chihuahua and my vet wouldn't give it to him until he was over 3lbs. Thank goodness it went well. He is a trooper! Love Lou and the hamster!! 😊❤
My vet gave 4 vaccines when my Chi pup weighed 2.4 pds at 16 weeks. For 2 days she was down meaning lethargic. No more noncore shots. I do all natural flea/tick preventive. I do give Milbeguard for all kinds of worms from mosquitos. Keep her away from dog areas to potty as we live in the country. She’s 7 mths old & doing great.
I'm so happy Lou is feeling better. It is very scary when our beloved pets aren't feeling well. She is so beautiful. Seeing her everyday always puts a smile on my face. ❤ ❤

Poor Lou. She looks like she’s still not feeling her usual self. Those vet shots can be tricky,I had a cat that didn’t react well to the shot. He was listless for weeks afterwards. Poor pets can’t tell us what their feeling. You were wise to keep a close eye on her and get her to the vet asap.
They are so delicate and sweet. I would watch her closely. Make sure you check their blood for things also. It's very serious. My dog passed two weeks ago! Prayers!

So glad she is better. My two rescues had an intestinal issue after having some new treats. Took them to Vet and he did similar treatment as yours did. My lil chi has a raw bottom to the point we had to use an antibiotic cream on his butt. I know how scared you were, because we were so concerned and upset. Needless to say I have not given them any store bought treats since.
@@jsterling6805 begging bacon by purina and milk bone soft and chewy beef & filet mignon from Walmart. I lean toward it being the milk bone brand that made them so sick. Poor babies couldn't control their bowels at all. Seen some blood in watery stools also. Had we not taken them when we did to Vet I feel sure they would not survived. They would not eat nor drink. The Chi had to be put on pet pedialite. I will never give them store bought treats again. Now they get ham slices as a treat or chicken pieces from the table.
@@mariejoiner6495 Thank you for information. Pumpkin purée is good for diarrhea also will help with constipation. Have also used a little full fat yogurt for nausea or vomiting. I have given sliced blueberries and cucumber as a treat as well.

I had a pup have a reaction to rabies shot. Her vet recommended taking Benadryl or another antihistamine. SO GLAD you stayed!
Yes, Benadryl is exactly what they gave her! Highly recommended
