My dad committed suicide in January of 2012. He had a chihuahua named Chico Swave. Chico was a support for me. He was upset and kept looking for dad, but we were there for each other. He is the best friend and companion one could have. He is now 16 and slowing down, but his heart and character are as strong as ever. God made sure we were there for each other.

Thank you so much for sharing sweet Lou with all of us. Last year our precious Daphne (1/2 chihuahua 1/2 rat terrier) a rescue pup we had 15 of her 17 years sadly went home to heaven. In her later years she became an amazing therapy dog for me. (Yes I believe there is a special place for our beloved pets) The first time I saw Lou so much of her, especially twirling on the bed reminded me of Daph. I am 67 and due to a health problem it was suggested I not get another dog, which I understand why, has left me sad and empty. Your generosity of sharing Lou and your lives have brought me and I am sure many other hours of joy and laughter. I especially love the voice over for her. A perfect fit. May God richly bless you and yours and give you a long and healthy life for your sweet girl and y’all as well. Thanks again.❤❤❤

Congratulations. Lou reminds me of my Hershey (also a long haired chocolate chihuahua). Mine was a rescue from a puppy mill confiscated by local authorities, I could not have asked for a better pup. She lived a long wonderful life and the decision to let her go was difficult. It's been several years now and I was thrilled when I found Lou's page. I currently own a Cedrick look-a-like that is a rescue turned over to the Vet from a hoarder. Bella is quite old but she has been such a pleasure to own. I've owned chihuahuas all of my life (I'm 64) as well as German Shepherds. The two breeds have a lot of similarities. Keep Lou healthy and happy. Keep those videos coming.

I love Lou's story. She warms my heart because she looks so much like my Missy who turned 17 and finally crossed the rainbow bridge. But the similarities and their looks and personalities are so much alike. Missy used to urf at me like Lou does, and she would do the circles and zoomies like Lou too!❤ Lou and Cedric and Nala are all precious and bring joy to so many!

It took my younger sister years to convince mom to get a dog. About 8 years ago we got Taffy (yes, she named her after Barbie's dog). She's a chorkie. Part chihuahua, part yorkie. And she's the cutest puppy ever. People who have seen Lou say Taffy looks just like her.

My chi saved me too❤. I lost my American staffy in my arms at 12.5 years old. His loss was so hard. I spent along time deciding to get another dog.
Minty my chi, came to me in 2020. Meanwhile my health had been declining. She is able to pick up on migraine auras. Pain in my body. When my fatigue kicks up a gear and when I need to rest. She bosses me to rest.😂
She is my emotional/ medical support dog.
I totally get how much they hijack your heart.
I now have 3. 😮crazy chihuahua lady.

I just listen to Lou's arrival at your house end your story of the last few years. January 8th was Elvis Presley's birthday and that made me smile. Everything about you and your animals is such an inspiration to all of us out here. I live in Connecticut have had German shepherds, a toy poodle and a Yorkie and I absolutely love love watching Lou's antics and the clothes she wears. God bless you all and Happy Happy 2024!
