    Guys I just had my first coffee since my first panic attack and I’m shaking and my heart is racing plus I am short of breath. But here’s the thing. Am I scared? No. I am accepting all of these feelings and letting them pass as I know it’s anxiety. This is my opportunity to advance even further in recovery cause it’s nothing but a test to see if you will fall back in the cycle. Everyone you can do it so keep pushing and U WILL GET OUT!!

    Anxiety is like an unstoppable force pushing against an immovable object. Imagine yourself pushing against a solid double brick wall with all your strength, trying to get it to fall over. It's impossible. The moment you stop trying to push over the wall, your recovery begins. The more you can let go and just allow the anxiety to be there and not try to push against it, the better you will feel. Everything else is just a band-aid solution and doesn't work long term. In saying this, sometimes it's very hard to believe it's this simple and it's hard to let go. This is the simple yet difficult battle we face.

    "accepting the anxiety is the only thing you haven't done"
    "Set back means progress, you can't have a setback if every day is bad"...
    "You're accepting (forever) so that you stop resisting... Not goal oriented ("to make anxiety go away")
    POWERFUL

    When I first had my battle with anxiety it took a few years also for me to heal . That was over 20yrs ago when there wasn’t as much help and information out there , I truly believe if I had a group that helped me like your doing now it wouldn’t have took as long . I love what your doing to help people ❤️

    I’m glad you talk about how your symptoms change . It’s not funny but since I’m healed I do laugh about it now . I would tell my husband I feel like a power ranger or X-men changing into something else lol . I use to trip out how after one thing stooped making me anxious I would start feeling something else .

      @@melissaquintero7201 I have anxiety from my childhood inherited from my father but I came to know about it when I was 15 when I suffered from depression. My stomach is continuously paining from last 2 years. Due to my parents I was taking ayurvedic medicine for the stomach pain but when my medicine would get finished my stomach pain relief would also. This went on for almost 1-1.5 years and now the pain is at its peak point. Further my anxiety also triggered in this interval. I don't want tell about my mental health issues To my parents now and also I wanted to go to psychologist.. I have no courage to go alone. Even I am not 18 yet I'm 17.

    I had my first pre-workout drink yesterday after a long time. Well I drank half of it. Was a step in the right direction. I'm very active fitness wise but it helps me alot to do as much as I can. Even if I over do it. I can kinda put any weird symptoms I get towards just the workout

    I was a little skeptical and still am a bit but this seems to make the most sense and seems to be a full circle approach. Therapy typically focuses on one root cause, when in reality there are tons of other things that are causing anxiety as well. This seems to focus on the issue of anxiety itself which applies to everything. The issue isn't the events that happen to us, the issue is the anxiety itself.
    Now of course this is hard to say because my anxiety is extreme right now and was thrown out of control from a traumatic event. Ruining my whole life. Don't even know who I am. Don't have family and the only family I have abandon me when they promised to help.
    The struggle is real! It really does consume you. Don't ever underestimate what anxiety can do to your whole life and health. I was the same and always thought I was okay and just powering through life and the anxiety from that traumatic event totally punched me in the gut and got the best of me. I did the application and have my video call Wednesday. Need a much possible help as possible!

    Stop looking for outside fixes....it's within yourself.
    Accept and let it go. Your body KNOWS what to do when you DONT react to your symptoms.

    • @marcushuffman5262
      @marcushuffman5262 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t really understand this. Because I’m having even more panic attacks from depersonalization. Then i take Klonopin 0.5mg to take away the panic. I know it within us but it’s definitely not easy by any means!

    • @liztowers2058
      @liztowers2058 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marcushuffman5262 no it's brutal yes. When I used to get them I would feel surreal...and it's easy to fully panic . I would literally have to try to force myself to make a tea in mid panic attack....sit on the recliner sofa and drink it while pretending to read a book ..all during a full blown panic attack rapid heart rate, sweating , dizzy ...all of it. It's basically a fake it till you make it type thing. That's what I mean by let go. Keep doing the things you'd do if you weren't in a panic. It's hard as hell! I get it. But if u freeze and focus on the crazy feelings and the surreal twilight zone feeling it just feeds it and gets worse. Go thru the motions youd normally go through if you were having any panic.

    • @liztowers2058
      @liztowers2058 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marcushuffman5262 than your body says "ohh wait wtf? I'm trying to sound the alarm and she's making tea and reading? Maybe I didn't need to panic... nothing is wrong??"
      And your body slowly starts to get back to normal. That's what I mean when I say your body knows how to react and repair itself. Even without us pushing it to do so. It'll adjust accordingly.
