I'm playing you in stereo throughout my home. I just love it. I'm 65, and my childhood memories of Las Cruces New Mexico play in my mind. The most Beautiful Sunsets against the tall cactus. The desert is so beautiful at night. Keep up the great work. I love you for what you're bringing to us, I call my, yours, ours, "heritage."
We happened by Las Cruces visiting my wife’s aunt and uncle on a motorcycle ride from the east coast. It was a good stop, they were getting older, good short visit. Got back on the 10 heading east, there was a full moon with the base hitting the horizon and the sun in my rear view hitting the horizon dead up same time. If I were a photographer I would plan for such events. Affordable as it was as bad ass as it gets by happenstance. Oh and the chilicahilies in Las Cruces for breakfast the next morning were awesome as well.
As an Indian, my dad used to love the western classics of 60's and 70's. Till this day we groove to the Good, Bad and Ugly. Thank you for sharing a playlist I can forward him :)

I live in the Appalachian mountains, and I never truly understood the West until we drove across the country to California. I live in a place right of the AT, and you can get lost in the wilderness and die, but.. the desert expance ....., There is something mysterious, magical, frightening, awesome, beautiful, terrifying, and wonderful about the desert. New Mexico sang to me in a way I did not expect.
I fled the big city East Coast in '90. Lived in New Mexico for 15 years altogether in the high desert north of Albuquerque. The endless beauty of the Range and Basin lands will always be my place of solitude and peace. Your music is like a stroll through the sage and mesquite in the quiet mesa morning, waiting for the refreshing of the afternoon monsoon rains.
I fled Philly in 2012 when I graduated high school. Joined the army and lived in Texas and then Alaska. I settled in Alaska for good after years of rambling post Army. I feel the same about this place as you do about New Mexico. respect. Which city did you flee?
Had just finished a 65 mile bike ride around Dallas. Just so happened to find this masterpiece on the drive home and it just vibed perfectly. Nicely done! ❤️🔥🥷💨
If you ride with headphones and want to try an experiment on the bike, try some Slayer tunes. A lot of their stuff comes in around 180-190bpm and then you time your cadence with the bpm it'll keep you right in that 90-95rpm wheelhouse. There's even faster stuff out there in the 270-280bpm range that also lines up, but that's not for everyone.
A deeper depression has come upon me the last few days. Just now listening to ghost wind and it really captures my emotions and the way I'm feeling. Empty, lost and alone, but somehow still longing and hoping for something more, something better, one day, maybe.
Look into the creator of your soul, the Lord. There you will find solace and purpose. Don’t let pride get in the way of that discovery. You’ve only just begun…….
Sitting here in my work truck listening to these trying to prep for the day . All I can think about is how I wish I was in the middle on the mountains or traveling to them through the desert on my horseback with my dogs . If only I could be riding my horse with one pup riding on back of horse with me and the other 2 playing around as we head back home to the wife and our homestead who is cooking . Living off the land . Not going to lie my soul was meant to be born Early 1800’s

I’m guessing somebody bought a new delay pedal? Sounds like the Catalinbread Adineko or some kind of Oil Can Delay blended in on the track at 14:00mins, also reminds me of Twin Peaks in a way. I like the spaciousness, nice melodies.
I identify as a Southwesterner. Especially while listening to a chill album like this. I can practically see the turquoise and silver jewelry now. And watch the sun slip beneath the horizon as the air grows cold, first slowly and then real quick.
Less than a minute in to this and can't hit that subscribe button fast enough! 😊 Great stuff. Instantly transported to the high desert and raw landscape of the southwest... at nearly 7000 feet in elevation, while standing among a grove of sparce juniper and pinon pine with a wind that chilled to the bone while watching the brilliant colors of the sunset washed over the raw land landscape all around me, no other audible human noise.. This music reminds me of exactly why I stood out there in the wind, to feel those sunset colors in my soul. Thank you for great work. 👍

I might not have a desert here in Greece, but i found an amazing lonely beach. Chilling next to the calm waves under the stars with some rum... Having my crazy kids fighting next to me spoiling everything but it's still fine! 😂
Having lived some years in AZ, the pairing of DESERT and CHILL is humorous indeed. 110+ in the shade, and no real shade to be found, yeah, I'll take something chilling. I'd rather shivver than sweat, I can always put on more clothes.
Thank you so much for this.❤ its exactly what i needed to imagine the sun on my skin and the creosote smell of rain in the distance for the monsoons ❤️
Closed my eyes and it took me back to ranch i was raised on. One day without noticing.. we put the soccer ball down and picked up bad habits. Last sunset there was amazing.
Oh, Oh...El Negro. I just had a memory that you may find interesting. for about 15 years i lived around Belen, New Mexico which is a major hub for BNSF railroad. How many times I would be comforted by the sound of the engines pulling up the long, slight slope coming out of town going west. Or i would hear the train coming down the hill with the brakes straining and screeching to slow her down coming into town where they would stop to fuel up. the sounds of the trains were way off in the background, noticeable, but not noisy. So, I wanted to suggest that these sounds could be used way in the background for some of your music. you know that the railroad was central in the history of the West, some good, some bad. Aside from that, I love the songs with the deep reverb. sounds like walking along the mesas and through the rocky canyons.

I love all these songs and videos, they help take me out of my negative head space. Ghost wind reminds me of Pearl Jams "last kiss" anyone else hear it?
Very good music to listen to with a cocktail and a cigar.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank You so much . This is Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you.
A horse no highway and a bag full of hopes and dreams with creative force driving through the thickness
Thanks for giving my thoughts a place to roam 🤠
🌵😎🌞 to the open sky.
I have felt that, what you described. ❤
@@coolwindinmyhair...5094 What a magnificent miracle, to be present with such profound awareness of surroundings and truly feel the experience. May you find a deep breath and renewed sense of peace. 🦋🌵☮❤
Thats the nicest rendition of ' Hole In the Bucket ' ever
Are you speaking of the Hank Williams sr song? I’ve heard someone else mention this. Just curious. Thank you 🙏🏻
This sounds like equal parts Richie Valens and cough syrup. Beautiful work.
That’s…. Interesting lol. Thank you 🙏🏻
@@elcuervonegro Check out his work that's not 'La Bamba'. Also check out Santos and Johnny's 'Sleepwalk'. Maybe that'll give you the vibe I was getting 🎶
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

Perfect music for driving up through the interior of BC, I just went up to the caribou with my brother and our friend and it was so good, i just wish it wasnt so humid lol

This is truly excellent - I hope this music was as much a joy for you to make as it is for us to listen to ~
Some kinds of happiness is measured... out in miles!
About once a year, my family and I take a 900 miles trip. Usually my brother and I are the drivers and we always do it during the night.
I always pick your songs when I'm driving, they fit perfectly!
Absolutamente linda
Have been enjoying your music since I first came across it on Junkyard Fox many years ago. Great vibes
Hell yeah nice relaxing desert sounds
The perfect soundtrack for a mvie like once upon a time in the west , the good , the bad & the ugly and for a few dollars more
Tasteful, good stuff great music, Great field !!!

Listening to it in sweden right now and waiting for the aurora. Great music. Thanks! 💞
That’s bad ass. Thank you 🙏🏻
I might not have a desert here in Greece, but i found an amazing lonely beach. Chilling next to the calm waves under the stars with some rum... Having my crazy kids fighting next to me spoiling everything but it's still fine! 😂
Excellent tunes. Been jamming to them today.
Soulfull
This is fantastic, please make more like this - I can't find anything similar on the Tube
Very very good I love it
The second song reminded me of the song: there’s a hike in my bucket, dear Lyla, dear Lyla.
Perfect music for doing chores
Right around 18:50 is absolutely killer
I am absolutely digging this. Please continue this journey. Thank You.

Reminds me of mornings at wasteland weekend ❤
Aside from that, I love the songs with the deep reverb. sounds like walking along the mesas and through the rocky canyons.
didnt know I needed this in my life, thank you much love yall
You are very welcome 🙏🏻
Really really enjoy this... I listen often, helps me out alot.
Thank you mate
Nice chilling music to relax the soul and mind
