Id like to try to take my sons here to fish. Is the power plant just good in the fall n winter or is it good year round? They caught their first King Salmon (hooked in the mouth) last fall land now the stocked pound trout n bluegills arent as exciting now. Trying to find some good spots we might have luck.

Oh well. eventually they'll head in all dark and nasty. is there a way to figure out if/when they are going to be pumping out hard? cause thats key with those power plant fisheries anywhere ya go.....?
Can't tell you how many times I've fished that raceway with absolutely no luck... blades, jigging spoons. Never tried eggs and a float. I just assumed the water was too warm and since that pier is closed during to cold months, I crossed it off the list. Also anyone planning to go there, you'll need an extra long net extension or depend on the kindness of someone who has one. Off to Dunham's to buy some Gulp eggs!
Do you hatchery tags there to mark your fish ??? so if you give a fish away to that woman she would have had to mark the fish ??? the reason for all the questions is it appears every state has its own set of rules.. Also this keeps me from looking at your states fishing website.. They all look like hatchery clipped fish too.. I have not seen so many dark fish before, different strains I guess. If there that easy to catch there where are all the residents ?? Thank you ..
