There’s an screen protector sensitivity option in the the phone settings I recently found. It might be helpful to you, I use a tempered glass screen protector as well so I understand how that might be a problem sometimes.

My previous phone is still going strong. It's been in use for 6 years, just less so the last few months. I have an even older one that gets used a few months most years. Yes, there will be Pixels still in use after 7 years.
Awesome video! Make sure you have the screen protector mode on in settings as this helps with the touch sensitivity and the fingerprint sensor while using a screen protector
I just got my pixel 8 pro. I liked my earlier pixels in terms of the finger print sensor being on the underside of the phone. I do appreciate the photo features the 8 pro has and that is why I bought it( vacation, family pics etc ). I payed 500 dollars for the stock 128 gig version and am very happy with it at that price point. Thanks for the video.
I like the call screening feature of the Pixel phones. I've had so many spam calls over the years, and I find them super annoying. Recently, I found a call blocker app that only allows calls from within my contacts to come through; all others are blocked. If I don't have to have this app, then even better! I also really like the customization you get with the lock screen and clock styles. I already use Google Messages and a few other Google-related apps, so I'm looking forward to switching from the Galaxy S23 Ultra to the Pixel phones.
I had to retire my Pixel 8 pro due too many issues. Unresponsiveness, poor display performance, etc... I went to Miami recently and the camera and Google Map froze frequently. It's sad how fast my Pixel 8 pro lost my trust
Here a Pixel owner which had every version up to 7. I can only agree with you. Cellular issues, WiFi, battery life issues, burning 🥵 hot. After pixel 4. I used to sent the pixel phones back to Google with in the 30 days. So was able to not waste money. But every time I tried to upgrade. Same issues in the new versions.
Thanks for the review! There are lots of promos rn for the Pixel phones so I'm getting one at a discounted price. For $800+ I would not buy this . Ill trade it in a year for something better if it disappoints but I'm hopeful it doesn't. I really like my first pixel which was a 4a years ago.
dont get people issue with the battery.. mine is up for 3 days normal use and time to time play some of my games ( not high quality ) but alot of spells and effects being used ( blade Idle ) once you hit like high lvl you get more spells being displayed. also i have 120hz not on its not that much diffrence
I thought the pixel 6 was pretty good and I have been using my pixel 7 phone for the past year and it has been great! however both phones were not the pro versions and did not offer the telephoto camera lens which I sorely miss. I am about to upgrade to a pixel 8 pro because I want to address that deficiency. I have never been a person who wants bigger screens but I am going to do my best to be happy with the fact that I'm getting a better camera and yes the downside is I'm saddled with a bigger screen but that feels like a first world problem in the end. I have been using graphene OS for the past 2 years and I've loved it so I am looking forward to this upgrade and I'm expecting good things ❤️
The same here, though Im considering the 11, since its about $450 cheaper than 12 here in Norway. But the only reason Im left with is the zoom. I have had a OnePlus Nord from 2020, and have been very happy with it.
@@ArntArnesen OP 12 is more expensive but it's so worth it. I found it for 980 euro in Denmark. I'm deciding between buying the S24 Ultra which has finally dropped down in price to 1.100 euro, with Samsung Dex and 7 years of software support, but the OP12 comes with 16GB of RAM, 512GB storage and the 100W charger in the box.
Great video! I can get the pixel 8 pro (128gb) for 475 euros (~$500) and the oneplus 12 (256gb) for 640 euros (~$670). Both devices are new. What do you recommend? I don't use my device for games or social media. I mainly use it for calls, browsing, google maps, e-banking and photos.
For your usage, honestly either or would be fine. I've had a few connection issues with the pixel 8 pro, but I personally think it has the better camera. For the price difference I would pick the pixel 8 pro.
