SERIOUSLY! If Priest will be able to pull if off at the 56th year of their existence... they might be the Metal biggest legends to ever walk the earth...
i love your channel, I really love the respect you show JP. I can't imagine the amount of strain you're living under. Best wishes to you, your friends and family, and your countrymen in general.
I have only missed seeing Judas Priest on tour 4 times since 1982... I'll catch alot of shit for this but... I hope they drop "You've got another thing coming" from the set list... Of all the songs JP has done, how THAT one is considered their best is beyond me... I dread it @ every concert...it seems to bring the whole show to a screeching halt.... Maybe I'm just jaded !? 🤣
Controversial perhaps but I feel that way about Screaming for Vengeance. In fact, this album and Defenders of the Faith are one of the lowest points in the the band's career for me. The Pilgrim won't agree XD

Just booked tickets to see them at Scarborough Open Air Theatre next July, literally just under a month after I go to see Maiden in Ireland on the Run for your Lives tour. Seeing two legendary bands within a month of each other is going to be incredible. Honestly can't wait given how amazing Priest were when I saw them for the first time ever last year at Leeds on the invincible shield tour
I like how they mixed up the sets for the firepower cycle. They pretty much played the whole record over the whole tour and changed up the set for each leg of the tour. The show I saw didn’t have painkiller or turbo lover-we got all guns blazing and out in the cold.
I would take firepower and invincible shield tour. Would love to hear both albums live! But any Priest live will be great! Saw them October 2024!! Loved it!!!
Gee, and it seems just like yesterday (or about 10 years ago) when Priest declared their final tour. Still my favorite band after Black Sabbath but after being a diehard fan since 79, I'll stick with my fond memories up to KK leaving. Props to Rob for still getting out there and he remains the best of all time though.
War Pigs intro Panic Attack Intro 1. The Serpent and the King 2. Leather Rebel 3. Sinner 4. One Shot at Glory 5. Devil in Disguise 6. Between the Hammer and the Anvil 7. Rock Hard Ride Free 8. Judas Priest has been my fav band ever since 1982. I have to say I love their last 3 albums. I went to see them earlier this year and they tore the roof off. Father Time is a Judas Priest fan,, Priest rules still!
So many bands have been doing this it only makes sense. I saw Deicide do the 30th anniversary of 'Legion' in 2022. I saw Cryptopsy do the 30th anniversary of 'Blasphemy Made Flesh' this year. I saw Exhorder do 'Slaughter in the Vatican' in its entirety a few years ago. Why not have Priest do 'Painkiller' in its entirety for its 35th anniversary? I'd pay money to see that.
I think it's awesome when bands perform entire albums live. I saw JP do that in 2009 for the 30th anniversary of British Steel, and it was amazing. In my opinion, "Rapid Fire" and "Metal Gods" sounded better than ever. If they're gonna be playing Painkiller in it's entirety, I'm all in 🤘
With Your speculation that it would be like Iron Maidens The future past tour and that they will play a third of Invincible Shield and Painkiller. You helped me with my setlist Speculation and now i will add As God Is My Witness, Leather Rebel and a Rocka Rolla song to my speculation playlist 🤘. I hope they play Metal Meltdown live and how would it sound today with Rob is so interesting
Gates of Hell is a must. The performances of that on tour this year were not impactful. They need to retool it and make it huge for the live show. The solo in the back of the song is pure epic. My favourite song on IS.
I know, you can not know that but based on your experience, do you think there really will be more dates? I am from Czech republic and I am thinking if I should wait with the purchase of tickets to different country (many km form my hometown, not too good..:-( or wait..
We wish they could play for 3 hours to fit them in. I hope they pick older bands to tour with like Overkill, Grave Digger, Doro or even Testament, ect.
When was the last time they played Ram it Down live? I would pay a bit extra to see if Rob is able to thr the intro screaming as the original :)) And The Sentinel too!
Songs I would love to hear from Painkiller and Invincible Shield: -Panic Attack - Invincible Shield - Crown of Horns - Trial by Fire - Gates of Hell - Devil in Disguise - Night Crawler - Painkiller More songs: - The Sentinel - Rapid Fire - Heading out to the highway/On the Run - Metal Gods - Grinder - You don't have to be old to be wise - Dragonaut - Redeemer of Souls - Diamonds and Rust - The Green Manalishi - Victim of Changes - Devil's Child - Riding on the Wind -Hell Bent For Leather - something from Firepower: Firepower, Lighting Strike, Evil Never Dies, Never the Heroes, Rising from Ruins or Flame Thrower - Turbo Lover - Living After Midnight (still the best song to end the concert) - of course Electric Eye and You've got another thing coming I absolutely hope for a live video album of this years tour as well as a second one for Shield of Pain Tour 2025. Maybe also more single videos and full concert videos on TH-cam like Scorpions and Metallica do. 🎸🔥🤘
This is not Judas Priest, it's a tribute band. That said, I'll still go see them if they come through here, even if it's just a shell of the original monster.

Judas Priest and Maiden should release live albums of latest tours bacaus enot everyone could travel to where the concerts took place and the concerts posted on YT dont sound good and especially Rob doesnt sound good.
It's good but just shows that the lack of vision by the management. They do the same thing Iron maiden are doing on their last tour. I would rather like to see a Screaming at the shield or defender of the shield tour.
I love Judas Priest so much. But with all due respect, Halford is really too old for this. He hasn't been able to sing Painkiller properly for like 30 years.
Can’t stand to hear breaking the law again. That song has been so overplayed, along with diamonds and rust! I’d rather not hear hell bent too. Play some other songs that are great songs, (British steel songs), that we never hear live.
SERIOUSLY! If Priest will be able to pull if off at the 56th year of their existence... they might be the Metal biggest legends to ever walk the earth...

I'll take Painkiller performed in the entirety.
Same!!
Damn right!
I was at their Painkiller tour. One if the greatest concerts ever.
I was at their Firepower tour. One of the most eye-opening concerts ever.
im waiting for the Screaming for Turbo Tour.
Great speculation Pilgrim. May all of our Priest dreams come true in 2025!
i love your channel, I really love the respect you show JP.

One of my favorite Judas Priest songs is Night Crawler, and seeing Kks Priest perform it was one of the highlights of this year for me.
Killer song!

Good song but overplayed to death .
Y@@richardhawkes4719Screaming & Defenders practically made them.

No Hot Rockin? Lol
They need to do some of the RIPPER ERA SONGS !!!
I love JP it has to be ROB that won't do those songs.... Ritchie plays all of K.K.s songs.....
They should tour with KK's Priest... Twice the Priest, Twice as good
Priest should've used that circular sawblade instead of that Star of Saturn-looking thing on the cover of Invincible Shield.
Would have preferred ”Sad Shield of Destiny” tour. Or maybe ”Shielda Rolla” celebrating the 50th anniversary of their debut!
If they play Leather Rebel, probably they won't play Devil in Disguise, since both are so much alike in the chorus.
