Yeah! Saw Metal God and some of the girls of Lovebites meeting backstage! What a freaking ticket it would've been.. the girls and the Priest! Marty and Kiko.. nice! Did see the Japan reunion on Marty's own YT-channel "Rock Fujiyama". Where he had a long segment BTS of the concert. Him talking to Dave about the good old days. He is also a friend of Lovebites and have had them as guests. Also some other japanese shredders. As Li-sa-X (who also uses Marty's bassplayer, the fantastic Wakazaemon, on tour and recently in studio).
Album of the year for me is Yesterwynde by Nightwish. And if you want classic metal with a new spin, go straight past Burning Witches and listen to Lovebites! 🤘 🔥 They are Priest's true inheritors.
Voted for Blood Incantation. What an album that is! You know, Kiko put out a solo album this year that's in my top 10, but I haven't heard anyone review it. It's really strange that it's being skipped.
I was at Nanowar's xxyears anniversary concert and it was so, so fantastic. I have been a metalhead since 1979,watching so many shows, but thsi really was special. They reall outdid themselves for the anniversary concert Go watch it when it comes out! :D
This is the first I’m hearing of Judas Priest and Alice Cooper at the London O2, so I check on tickets. All seated?! And the best tickets currently available are nearly £200?! For floor seating. All seating at a metal gig at an arena? Seriously? There’s no way I’m paying that much to sit on the floor area. This is a complete joke! WTF?!
Next year, i'm gonna go and see Iron Maiden for the last time. Wouldn't spend any penny on hearing their newer material live. Decided in 2019, that the Firepower concert would be the last time, too. Priest are no longer worth their money live.

Dude, the reason why the tickets are so expensive is the cost of the venues. The owners of the concert rooms are inflating the prices severely.

Ah man, the best album (for me) didn’t make that list! Sonata Arctica’s Clear Cold Beyond is incredibly good and I keep coming back to it constantly.
Saw Nanowar of Steel open for Amaranthe and Dragonforce and they were great. So much fun live.

Maiden are still putting out great shows and their sets are filled with new and classic material. Their next tour will be even bigger. 🤘
