Blitz suspension have 2 options and you can change it from the 100 mm to 130 mm which will also raise the pedals a bit. There are videos on youtube that shows how to do it. The clonking is when you do a topping out, opposite of bottoming out. Annoying to listen to, but doesn't affect anything.
Was acceleration assist enabled on the Lynx? That is a new setting which completely changes the ride feel (for the better imo) and could explain the difference since when you rode one last
As you mentioned in at the front of the vid, the Blitz is meant for the streets. The Xway is the wheel for dirt & jumps with its 130mm adjustable suspension & pedal height. Still the Blitz did pretty well nonetheless but at this stage with intro of the Apex & Xway, it'd be silly to not include them in your decision
The best I’ve ridden off-road was the Extreme. 16 inch wheel is very agile and lighter than most 20 inch wheels. A 26 inch wheel would be really hard in technical off-road. You wouldn’t be able to turn very easily. Obviously there are tons of different types of mountain bike trails/tracks so it may be good on a few but in general, I think it would be horrible. I have ridden everything from a 10 inch wheel to a 22 inch wheel.
For what you do, I'd say give the Apex a go. More travel, and the Leaper Kim internals. I think the consumer market wheel will be awsome. I've tried out one of the prototypes that was sent out, and it's an awesome wheel, for trail and jumps.
Light weight is better for me. The Chinese are still far from making a silent, reliable quality EUC suspension. They are making new wheels every 2nd month, each one with stupid design mistakes and a few cheap components to save a penny. I find the evolution had been very good in 2024 though. They are working in the right direction. I still hope they’re going to make a lightweight performance wheel before I’m too old to ride. 😁
It’s not true about 100mm, I don’t know who told you this, if you measure the sliders, a higher position allows 117mm of travel + 5mm from very soft rubber dumpers. It’s not advertised 130mm, but it’s at least 120 and not 100. Lynx has 82mm real travel out of 90mm too
Très bonne vidéo comme d'habitude! j' ai un terrain à coté de chez moi un peu comme ça, voir plus engagé! j'oserai jamais y aller ! si un jour tu veux venir tester...
Remove the block to increase the suspension travel , this will make the pedals higher , spend some more time with the Blitz and then make a follow up review .
great video!
Thanks, looking forward to put the Apex to the test 👀
Great riding. Fun video ✊
Thanks Marty 😌
Cool video man. Thank you. I have a Lynx. I subscribed. 😊

11:21 consider the apex v2 as your next wheel
Thank you for the video! Begode got the superior firmware, LK is getting better but still have miles to go.

When you rode the lynx did you had the suspension settings setup for you? But probably the 62lbs version must be better for you

Excellent video! I tried a Blitz and it was surprisingly really good on berms and lightweight. Clunky suspension though and drug the pedals too easily
Algo on turns was great yes
love your edits
thanks 😌
AFAIK there were some firmware updates on the riding experience on lynx recently.
Lynx 🖤
Blitz!
I’d say Xway is the way to go😉👍
I would like to see a large (26") high torque off-road wheel come out. It would make mountain bike tracks much better.

you said..pedals are to high of the Blitz meaning they are too low..

For Lynx make sure you are on 5.0.7 firmware for berms!
All the others are gonna have that wierd behavior…. As of now at least

Block was already removed, I was riding at the highest setting
