@@333fux8 Yeah it's called the Airfoil and you can purchase it separately. It comes in different colours too.
I wonder if that additional spoiler piece on the top adds or reduces drag on the helmet. It looks freakin sweet though compared to the other Airflite helmets!
I love how it looks with a RST Gold shield. Mine has the gold visor. Looks like the Battlescar’s brother.

Thanks for posting this video. Really good info on that Helmet. I'm looking at picking up the Rubatone version, and I had a question about that Dark Smoke that the Blockchain ships with. How dark is that dark Smoke Visor? In your opinion would that be too dark for riding at night?
Glad you like the video. I had ridden with the RST red Airflite Flight Shield at night with no issues. I think that as long as you were on well lit streets you’d be fine.
would not recommend you the rubbatone---- you will def regret getting it... it gets scratched A LOT

Bay Area FPV I wanted something that would contrast the road and surroundings. It’s very green where I live. I also ride a KTM so standing out shouldn’t be a problem.

I have the Icon Battlescar 2 helmet along with Icon Esthetique, and Chantilly Opal (may add the Semper Fi as my third) and thought about adding the Blockchain to my collection. You are right, it (they) does fit a little snug but I notice the more you wear it the better it feels. Great review! When I get the helmet I'll definitely get the air foil now.

Have you noticed how much gap the visor has on the top side with the visor fully down and locked? I have the same helment and I always keep getting more than required air in and I had no idea why and then realized it. You can put a paper towel in between the visor and helmet (top side) and lock the visor and pull the paper towel with ease. Test and let me know!

I wanted to get this helmet so bad, but even trying a size, even 2 sizes larger, I still felt pain in my temples once I put it on at the store.

I saw a rider say he placed weights on the inside at night to help with the tightness. I just got mine and it feels pretty good. Definitely snug which I'm sure will adjust to my head. That's how most quality helmets work. They kind of mold to your head, which is what you want. Mine literally just arrived! Tomorrow is the big day! Can't wait!!

How did you find its sizing? Was is tight? Some people are saying best to go a size bigger then whats measured. any truth to that?
It’s very tight getting over the head. Then once it is on it’s quite comfortable. Definitely go a size up. If you call revzilla they’ll help you get the right size.

How are you gonna say he set it way too far back when he didn't? You can clearly see the little tabs that sit down underneath the rear spoiler. So... Like he said. It's pretty self explanatory. If you're not an idiot. There's your problem.

When you pull the cheek pads out, are they all velcro or does it still have the plastic bits that slide in? I have the first Variant and the plastic bits were annoying when mounting Bluetooth. The new Variant Pro is all velcro including the chin skirt...makes running wires easier.

Did nobody talk about the Clasp? I got my Helm today, the Fakt that it's a little bit difficult to bring it on the head is not a problem, once it is done, the helmet fits well, but the Clasp is absolutely crap. You had to finger way too long to close and open as well, rurocs magnet is by far the better option and actuell I got one with a ratchet, that's also way easier
Does anyone know where to buy just the supervent? Seems like a sweet addon just can't seem to find it.
I’ve tried looking for it as well to purchase alone. I was hoping to add one to my Airflite Synthwave, but I cannot find it either. Perhaps reach out to Icon and ask. Or maybe even Revzilla

Hey man, fresh owner of the Icon Airflite Stim here. I have a question for you:
I ordered the helmet online and, even though the fit is very comfortable, I'm having real difficulties when putting it on. The hole is quite tight for my head and I have to squeeze it really hard. But, as I said, the fit is very comfortable.
Did you had this problem with yours ?
Yes they are quite tight to get on and off. It will get a little better over time as the helmet breaks in.

Do they run that small? I see your helmet is a 2xl. Im usually a large in most helmets.
Yes, they run small. The helmet is a pain to get on initially, but quite comfortable once on.
Would a cardo pack talk slim fit on this helmet ?
I do believe that it would work fine. However, I would recommend reaching out the folks at Revzilla as they are super helpful and I am certain they could confirm whether or not it would work.

How's the sizing on this? I've read it runs small.
I think that the sizing runs true, however it is the shape of the helmet that makes it seem small. It is an oval and snug to get on. Once it is on your head I find it to be quite comfortable. I would recommend talking to the guys at RevZilla if you are concerned about fitment. They'll get you taken care of.
does it suits for kawasaki z900 2020 green?
I think it would work great for that bike.

with the additional 'wind tunnel' piece the helmet can stand upside down.
Now I hear people complain about it being nosier than the average. Kinda counterintuitive given the aerodynamic look of the helmets.
So I am stuck between choosing this or Ruroc atlas 2.0. If Ruroc atlas 2.0 had a internal sun visor. It would be the winner to me. Huge advantage is that Ruroc use carbonfiber shells which makes it featherlight. Airflite is a bit heavier.
Had my red block chain helmet for about 4 months now and can definitely say it's louder than my AGV and it's not even a high end model. But ear plugs should be worn anyway if you ride often or commute. Pros are looks, and it's an intermediate oval so it fits better than my AGV which is more round fit. I like the matte finish and worn look of the graphics. If you drop it it'll only add to the look lol. Cons are the noise and getting it off which is borderline painful. It has a super snug opening. Putting on isn't so bad getting it off is ridiculous. But it's very comfortable once on. Lots of ear room, which prb contributes to the wind noise. Not a fan of the ruroc looks. And tools for the face shield? Deal breaker.
@@steve23464 Thanks for the feedback! Ruroc atlas 2.0 doesn't need tools for the shield. Btw, I heard Ruroc might add Autotinting shields. Then sun visor becomes less needed.
