      I guess its smart in that it does what sena or cardo do internally but I would like to see it with more "smarts" before I call it a true "smart" helmet or benchmark. its just recording and doing internally what others do externally, smart idea though.

      I'll be honest I seriously just want to throw $$ thru my monitor at you guys to get one of these helmets ...Absolutely Love all the features ... my one & only major hang up is the stabilization on the camera. It's pretty evident even in this video. The footage from the helm is pretty shaky vs the buttery smooth footage from the GoPro on the handlebars. Since the built in camera is a huge selling point for myself as a moto vlogger I would definitely need much better stabilization. If you can get the stabilization to be even remotely close to that of the GoPro Hero 8/9 or even the iPhone 11/12 ... I'd sell my left kidney to get one of these helms if need be. Unfortunately right now with the shaky footage I can't justify spending that kind of $$ just to have to still use my GoPro. Just my 2 cents ....

    Truly amazing, ground breaking stuff from an Australian based company. I am genuinely chuffed.
    Why can't helmet makers like Arai, Shoei and the like come up with stuff like this ?
    I am wondering though, with all the techy gadgets, what happens when it goes bad ?
    At some point, it will start glitching and have issues. Is there going to be ongoing support for helmet owners well into the future or are they going to screw us and make us keep upgrading to newer helmets just to keep up with the tech ??
    I think the camera should be a minimum 4K quality. 1080P is old hat going forward don't you think ?

    Thank you. That looks like an awesome helmet! You did a very nice presentation. It was organized well and seemed to be very thorough. Your statement about the price is spot on. I paid about $1,000 US for my helmet and that did NOT include any video. I got the helmet and an intercom system. The intercom is Bluetooth and can play music, take calls, etc. I was happy with that until you debuted that beautiful work of art and technology, now I feel somewhat deprived (lol). Thank you for sharing.

  • @kiritok1032
    @kiritok1032 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    this is amazing for the price point, one thing i do notice is that when u use lets say a gopro camera u can boost up stabilization which makes the recording a lot more stable and nicer to watch, these built in camera do not stabilize so every little movement of your head is recorded so that's something they should consider adding in the future for better footage and motovlogging but other wise im impressed

  • @BikesVansandThings
    @BikesVansandThings 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Sooo good Rob 👊🏻 really enjoyed the review and looks like a great option. Helmet looks fantastic and great details. Audio sounds great. Only thing is stabilisation on the footage but minor pick up for the overall capability which is huge. I’m on the list!

    • @MotoFeelz
      @MotoFeelz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks heaps bro! Going back a few years before great stabilization was a thing pre hero 7, this helmet would have dominated. Considering this is their first product ever, I’m feeling confident they’ll eventually be on par with GoPro footage, amongst other amazing functions.
      But i’m hearing ya. Superseding benchmarks is a thing and I recon they’re up for the challenge

    Loved it! Definitely the way forward. The video quality looked good enough (maybe not as good as the newer gopros), but this could soon become the motovlogging norm. One more Condo thing. Mount Tilga is 8 kms north of the town - more hill than mountain. Condo elevation is 220m, Mt Tilga is 300m. We used to walk or ride pushies out there when we were kids. There is a trig station on top that is the central point for NSW mapping. It's got no other claim to fame but if you are seeing the trip as a NSW loop, then to say you got to the official centre point adds a bit of kudos.

    IDK how much I like the "HUD" it doesn't really display anything but colors, it's more like voice assist. The built in camera is a nice thing, but I'd like to know how it compares to a GoPro or other brand. I bought a 1080@30 and it was trash, had to bring to to 720 and work the settings just to get usable footage out of it. GoPro and others, I think have been 4K for a while now.
    USD are about $1K, so not too bad, but the tech doesn't seem to be top end. I haven't tried a true HUD, so IDK how I'd like it, but voice with color bars isn't really a true HUD. Pretty much all of this can be done with any smartphone.

    Founder here, keeping it but is not my go to helmet as it presses on my thin glasses arms making it unwearable after 30- 40 minutes, this is my experience only, a few things do shit me about it, the internal visor is hit and miss on operation sometime it wont retract and gets stuck, i have helmets 1/4 of the price of this that work smoothy and flawlessly, the mechanism on the Forcite feels cheap, and the speakers float around in the area they are” located...

    Nice, Unboxing en review - Forcite should definitely collaborate with GoPro or DJI and add a 4k 60fps camera_ the 1080p is good but it's sub-standard for a fully carbon prime helmet... The camera should also be slightly tilted upwards for superbike riders/racers. Otherwise awesome design and looking lid. The App though looks insane! Love the look and feel of the App!

    • @Forcite
      @Forcite 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you factor in the extra power drain + added heat that 4k introduces (as well as inferior lowlight capability) 1080p is a more practical use case for the majority of riders, which is why we went down this route for our first iteration.
      The next gen of Forcite helmets (maybe 24 months away) will be exploring 4k options.

    • @Forcite
      @Forcite 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh and the viewing angle is spot on for supersport riders! The bigger issue for those sort of bikes really only becomes a problem in racing scenarios when the chin is pressed to the tank, and by that stage the angle can't do much for you.

    • @EdExplore
      @EdExplore 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Forcite Love it and makes sense, thanks for the reply. I'd say for the 4k capabilities. Maybe look at helmets like Ruroc and how they integrate their Bluetooth unit (for battery placement) keeping in mind that battery must be interchangeable (PLEASE)...maybe have the camera angle adjustable with 3 or 4 clicks. I know this might be a headache, but people like having flexibility and might use the helmets for different applications.

    • @EdExplore
      @EdExplore 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Forcite Also regarding 4k application - All the youtuber I follow across the world use either DJI Osmo or GoPro recording 4k 30/60fps and some add Lens Filters which I think will be important thing to keep in mind with the design (have inhouse Filters designed to either replace or to fit over the current lens) and with that have internal mic records that records directly to the video for MotoVloggers 😁 winner winner chicken dinner

    For all you young or new to riding this style helmet with a flip down sun visors are a great grand touring helmet and for Sunday rights in the back country but for all you superbike riders that go to the track this helmet isn’t allowed , no flip down inside sun visors are allowed on track even group track days , now that in America I’m not sure if it’s allowed in other countries on tracks so look into it if your investing a lot of money on a track helmet or an all in one helmet because I’ve seen many young guys get bummed out when thrown off track for something so minute.. but when they do equipment inspection you will get turned away but sometimes people slip through then get caught on track …
