Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Aprilia only struggling because they can’t update their bikes due to both riders leaving. Their performance dropped of a cliff directly after maverick made his announcement along with aleix.
I wasn't aware of that, but it does make sense and the timeline you mentioned definitely holds true. My opinion would be that a manufacturer would continue to make updates no matter who the new riders are, but I'll have to do some more research on that now, because now you've got me thinking.
@ yeah. What makes it worse is that Jorge will be hoping on essentially a 2 year old bike but since they are doing so horrible this year I think it puts them in a lower tier allowing to test more
I really hope for Jorge's sake they can get a good package out there! He's definitely got talent and it'll make next season a lot more fun if there's some other brands riding in the front also!
