It will grow out, but if the hairline crack still remains at the hairline (coronary band) , then it will not heal, and it will have to be held together as before the trim, until the crack doesn't appear at the coronary band anymore.
that hoof crack will never get to normal again as you show. the hoof has to be gouged from above the hairline where the damage started. you need to grind that crack deep and all the way down and then stitch it. dub the toe to prevent pressure on the crack, clean it very well and keep the animal high and dry. this will take months to start getting back to normal. I used to use glue- on horseshoes. this is not a one-treatment cure.
I have a friend who has two horses, the hooves are not as bad as being cracked but they have not been trimmed or cleaned since she got them. She told me to beware of the male because he gets mean: that is when I looked down at his hooves, I would be mean too of my feet were like that. Is there anyone I should call to make her get those poor horses hooves checked?
Actually, you could. Go into any nail shop and ask for help! They will glue it for you. I don't get my nails "done" but I did go to my mom's nail shop and they used some kinda fake nail glue in a clear color to fix a crack I got while working in the wood shop

Looks more like you need to do that on a car, not a living animal. Put a shoe on it, make it where no pressure goes on that area. Put a place to clean it out, drain it. Then put your epoxy on it. Poor horse. Take time in your work, or don't put it on TH-cam

Rough it up and put fiberglass resin over it to hold it firm.
