for me i would do (also if the have a slash then an other level that means the other level is the act 2 but for levels with out the slash they would just have modified versions of act 1 if refences to other levels about the same location) Dreamcast: ARK (for the same reasons you said) rail canyon/bullet station (because i feel like it fits more and also the fact its an eggman place and the first place we see shadow in heroes is a eggman closet) westopolis/lethal highway Boss: sonic or black bull Modern: white acropolis deep woods/shrouded forest (I need black knight representation) casino forest or arsenal pyramid Boss: lancelot or infinite final area: radical highway black comet doom zone (idk) final boss: devil doom duh also i feel like instead of calling it doom shadow i feel like black arms shadow sounds better but thats just my opinion sorry this is so long.
@Zeirded First off, don’t apologize for the length, I love taking the time out to read what you have to say. I’d say this is a pretty solid list, I didn’t even think about representing Black Knight, which a lot of fans love (I haven’t played it). I think the only thing we really disagree on is the level to represent Heroes. Personally, after Colors and Forces, I’ve lost a lot of faith in Sega since they relied heavily on scripted rail grinding in those games. So when I see an entire stage on rails, it makes me think they chose it for “easy” level design. Even though Rail Canyon in Heroes has the capsules that contain the Shadow Androids, I still don’t think that it has enough significance for it to be the DEFINITIVE level for Shadow Gens. If we want to keep the grim tone that Shadow Gens sets up, Hang Castle/Mystic Mansion works far better and has infinitely more potential for great level design than Rail Canyon. I think Doom Shadow does sound off and Shadow Doom sounds a little better (not too sold on either to be honest), but I do like Black Arms Shadow. Maybe we can compromise at Black Shadow 🤷🏽♂️?
