My first car was a 70'Chevelle. Bought it from my grandfather when I was fifteen years old I still love and miss that car! I'm now fifty and would love to have another one.
In 1998 I bought a 1970 GTO. My friend bought a 1969 Chevelle ss 396. It was a fun summer. We both ended up selling the cars. I took a big loss. Oh well I learned my lesson. Hope one day to own another one
It's nice to see a retired guy get a finished classic car. Many years of work to retire. Good job you two. I hope to be just like you and the wife someday. :-)
+Brian Lawton how much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking? I was looking into getting a 69 in great condition just trying to get an idea of how much OT I'm going to have to work and for how long in order to do so

Lambo……? “ Forget about it”. Nothing like a good ol fashioned USA muscle car . This Chevelle is the cream of the crop! Congrats Bro! Enjoy for a long long time
I bought a '70 396 in a little rough condition but still running good for $2200 back in '89, paid to get a fender and back bumper replaced, also to get a couple of rusty spots fixed and drove it with a coat of black primer for almost 2 years, got the transmission and motor rebuilt, had the black interior fixed nicely, repaired front end... but not even 3 weeks after paying for a blue paintjob (with the racing stripes) it got stolen, I felt like killing something...
Have mercy: he's just the delivery guy. Not everybody has driven something with a monster cam. Delivery guys in my neighborhood typically go to the wrong house, so... this one went well.
Brian you such a lucky man to own that. Looks awesome. Just thinking if I had that sweet ride across here in the UK, man I'd untouchable. Keep it well. Tryna save up and buy one of those old school classics.
What a dream....to have your ride delivered to you like that, also i think i caught a glimpse of a Marauder is some ones driveway when the guy is putting down the cones....anyway...that is a perfect Chevelle..color scheme and wheels,i would not change a thing!

Well grats Brian, not everyone gets lucky that way!
When I am able to go by my 1st 1970 Chevelle SS it'll definitely be a 4speed car that's for sure idc how long it'll take to find one Blue & White or Red & Black
