I highly recommend dealing with Pittsburgh Spray Equipment. Patrick was a wealth of knowledge and was extremely helpful in helping me find the best setup for my needs. I decided to go with the trophy gun and think is one of the best purchases I have made for my business. I use the conventional cap to spray epoxy coating with ease and perfection

I used their tiniest pint sized gun a few years back. Even used outside, It Always gave me QUALITY results, no matter what grade of material I was using. BTW, Love the video. Wish I never parted with my little giant. I got a BINKS model XXXXXX something now. For my 150# at 60 psi It's a quality little bastard too!

Stay away from that brand. Devilbiss Tekna Prolite is a lot better

How do you feel about my spray Pressure set up I use at work painting 12-30ft trailers (industrial) it's a devillbiss gun unsure of unit number as it's a used gun I got when I started working at my new job , but the other painter recommended 15psi fluid pressure and 40 psi gun pressure , with 2-3 turns out from completely closed spraying with full fan , I am having troubles with runs and dry spray and it's really bothering me when it's such a big project I'm working on

I'll help you adjust your gun. You need to know the viscosity of the material which you spray, and your fluid nozzle & needle size. Match the viscosity to your fluid set. Example: a 1.4mm or 1.5mm nozzle and needle is looking for a viscosity of 20 - 30 seconds through a Ford #4 cup.
Next, with atomizing air turned OFF, pressurize your pressure pot, pull the gun trigger, aim straight ahead. Adjust the psi to the pressure pot so that you get a 3' stream of liquid that begins its arc to the floor about halfway through, meaning that the total length of the stream plus the arc ends at about 3' - 5' from where you're standing.......Next, dial in yourcair pressure with your fan adj valve all the way open. The fan should look like an even mist with no streams or tails at its edges. View the fan from the side.
      That's all she wrote.
