To think that the had been THIS much material of what Paper Mario was originally going to be just hidden under our midst for so dang long and it's just NOW been found! How long HAS this been roaming around the internet?!

And to think, when this material was first released their was such a vitriolic backlash against it that fans actually wanted the game cancelled because it looked 'bad' compared to Mario RPG. Always wondered how those people felt when the game came out and it was such a success.

Well, you see, I did feel bad but only after it became a success. The N64 impressed me every time then, but when Nintendo decided that this would be the next RPG instead of what Squaresoft did, I didn't appreciate it. Real RPG'S utilized a 3 party character system to really balance it out, but when I discovered that Paper only used, despite various characters available, I just eventually played something else. It's nice that Squeenix brought it back, but I'd still like a sequel someday

I wish they would publish the whole beta versions as a bonus similar to making a remake as a bonus unless the beta version is so bad it's not worth finishing.

It's really interesting how Paper Mario started out as a direct sequel to SMRPG while Mario & Luigi ended up taking more influence from it lol. Overall pretty good video!
