No man, its not boring at all. Im learning to use modeler myself and right now is very useful to watch the whole process with commentary. So keep em coming ! And thanx for sharing
@@MechNuggets I havent dealt with shorts and reels yet because im a noob, but just by streaming and exporting or recording a session to edit and upload alone, DEVASTATING and time consuming! hahaha. But to let you know that watching your process and the process of some other artists i follow, gives me enough inspiration and understanding to do it too and follow your steps as a guide to be better. So thanx again man.
What I an incredible process and final product! My adhd brain is in awe. This is my first video of yours I have found/watched. I love mechs and the heavier the better. Thank you for putting your work out there for us.
What's with all the downvotes? Weird. Looking forward to another year of amazing VR modelling content. To answer your question at 13minutes in, happy for you to keep the entirety of your process. I find it interesting.
@@MechNuggets I see almost no downvotes? The yapping is very good, you go through your process in a super interesting way. I've been modelling for games for a decade and I was incredibly intrigued by the usage of vr sculpts.
I'm very thankful for the process and tutorial videos, I feel that i can learn a lot and it's really nice that you show all the process and way of thinking
This is sick. I always liked the chunkier mechs. Use to build gunpla models a lot when I was a little younger. Still have my good ones on display. Back when I got into it the only way to get a custom gundam was to kit bash extra parts you already had, scratch build from nothing or buy a pricey resin add on kit that someone had to sculpt in plastic, make a mold, then pour resin etc. That was before consumer 3d printing. This was a cool process. Id love to be able to make my own but I'm in the middle of learning 4 different things right now😅Maybe someday.
It's great to see the whole process! Although it is repetitive in nature, it never looks the same. You already equilibrate stuff with more specific videos focused on interesting techniques (which we appreciate). It is awesome to see all your creative repertoire working at once.
Pyro's gonna love this - but in all seriousness.. You could make some good bank doing Titanfall titans like this ~ If, by bank I mean internet points on reddit, but seriously. Fat Scorch? There's a group that'd go nuts for that
@@MechNuggets free 3d software that almost everyone use or atleast start with. I guess you dont know then but still thanks for help and your sculpts and amazing!
Really nice model! How long did it took from start to finish? Will try to make some color variations to it. I think it would work better if it had a bit more complementary colors
this design goes hard. to be honest the original Zaku is one of the Gundam designs I like less, the particular way it mixes curved and angular shapes just doesn't hit right for me - whereas this version very much does, you know your style well and can create very well-integrated shape language!
I'd love to have a go at painting this beast once it's ready, I've been painting minis for a while so I'd love to see what you think! :D Also - which VR headset are you using? This is making me want to try out VR sculpting :P Reckon a quest 2 is good enough? Cheers man, awesome vid!
This is an odd question but i noticed you're working on ANIMO now, and that game has your cool sculpted mecha style all over it! Any chance of a video on how you take these 20m tri sculpts and make them game ready?
Hey! Thats a good question, but I doubt ill make a video on that. I specialize in concept art and integrating models in engine is not really what I do. I need help from actual 3D artists to do that and you'll most likely find better content on that workflow somewhere else.
Hi Friend! I updated to 1.18 and I can open your Kitbash, but the background in modeler is completely. It's says LIGHT OR DARK. How to make it gradient? The background use to be like Maya. Thanks
Its not in the preferences. Open the environment settings, then go to the Background tab (top right of your screen in desktop mode). Hit reset all, tick custom background color ON and put gradient intensity to 100%.

If Bandai released a line of chunked up HG/MG kits like that I'd buy the shit out of them. Super cool! Thanks for sharing.
I like the workflow presentation. Not repetitive : )

The whole sculpting was about 3 sessions of 45 mins. I agree it needs a tertiary color for accents.
