The Toyota aristo v300 seems like the perfect successor to this cresta... Both have very subtle.. Innocent faces... But have very naughty engines... This one having the 1jz-gte and the aristo having a 2jz-gte...
I saw this car listed for sale in Utah not long ago. Looks like the owner kept it stock and only performed the necessary maintenance (fluids, replaced ECU capacitors, etc)
Haha that's an incredible example! Toyota really had free reign during that early 90's economy boost bubble Japan went through. It doesn't even look like that stock chassis can utilise that amount of power and torque. A definitive factory sleeper car.
Cressida is more of a proper box, full door frames if I remember right, compared to the sports doors the Cresta has. Plus we had the 7m, super good engine...
The trim fade seems to be a thing on the silver trim for x80s. My Mark II had the same problem. And you don't use the auto button to go through the fan modes. Have to hit the open button to see the controls for the fan and vent options.
Love this car the quality can beat any car even todays Mercedes s class dont have this quality or a BMW 7 series, thsie are cheap made. I hope this car stays as original as it is this would be great for some who would take care and maintain it and drive it and not store it it would be a good weekend car.
Jealous! I would have been nervous bidding with the "AC doesn't work" part, but if they got a good deal, adding $1000 or so to fix that might be worth it. Who keeps the plastic on their door cards for 27 YEARS????
Love these cars they should make these again for us people who never got a chance to get bands on these back then because we wearnt born yet. Also toyota needs to keep with this style as well I don't like the new toyotas and their cheap quality in new cars. Look at the seats and the doors in this car they are money in the car now days people pay 30k or 40k for a car but get a stupid entertainment systems and stupid parking aid.
anybody gets the feeling onizuka sensei gonna smash the cresta again?
davidofchinkov41 That was much later, though. That one had GPS.
hahaha yeaaah but that was the next gen i think
WATASHI NO CRESTA!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's hoping the new owner keeps this one as it is. Perfect.
I own this car!! 😂 definitely gonna get slammed here in a sec
@@kinglet1919 Sure you do.
@@R33Racer fuck it I made a short😂😜. Sure I do..

there's a reason why the aristo was called the gentleman's supra
My Beautiful Cresta!!!
Cars like this is why Toyota is the best Japanese car brand
I'm legit gonna cry if the owner gonna strip it and make it into some ugly ass drift car...
You know its coming..;)
they wouldnt bother with the car condition or mileage if they meant to do that

Wow, I hope this doesn’t get turned into a drift missile. It’s just like a window to the past.
My Mom's 2006 Scion xB came with BBS wheels when she bought the car brand new. Must have some deal with Toyota.

They need to make more cars like this
Wow, what a nice car! I hope it gets to a caring home
When Derrek said, "There's a substance on my bum" I was dying😂
Reminds me of my old maroon 1990 Camry I had! Fun little car, I would get around 380 miles in a full tank of gas!
She's a beauty
This car , if you know how to set these 90s beast , they will give many 2023 cars a run for their money.
W-W-WAAAATASHIINO CRESTA !!!!😱😱😱
ONIZAKIIIIIIIIIII😤😤😤😤
It's Onizuka by the way. And here I am, searching for Cresta videos just to see if someone made a GTO reference. Lol
@@thesamuraix881 👏👏👏
Thank you for such a beautiful presentation
Two-tone paint? That was very common on trucks and SUVs in North America, during the 1970s, 1980s, and most of the 1990s.

This car is like a time capsule!
JDM car, mark2, chaser and cresta jzx90 forever
Btw you can now have a loaded Camry with 2 tone. I saw one with black roof and white body
Imagine getting this car just to be crushed by Onizuka

A Toyota car is registered at toyota city, interesting
More brown? you and Mr Regular would get along nicely
Are those staggered wheels I see, Derek? Interesting.
How many times did your insurance cover it?
It's his first Cresta. So long as Onizuka doesn't destroy it in one way or another, then there's no insurance involved

MY MY MY CRESTA!!!! O O ONI ONIZUKA!!!!!!=vice principal..
I think only in Japan people buy cars to put them in garage and save them for somebody who will buy them and have fun for a low price in a future 😀
Like a new car. Holly shit
Does anyone know the difference between the GT and Super Lucent G? Or is it just a trim option?
Tristen P I believe the Super Lucent G is an NA 1J and the GT in the later ones is the turbo 1J. Earlier GTs would be a turbo 1G
aye Mighty Car Mods car but that has the Ford Barra engine
That car is awesome.

Chuckys Girlfriend Tyler's builds are insulting.
Does this car have an insurance for damages caused by middle school teachers?
Is that a GTO reference?
