Thanks for the ride! Could not help but notice the amount of trash along side of the tracks during the journey. Kind of sad to see the amount of litter people create.
kinda sad to see all the changes that have been made, I would catch the Jersey Shore train in New York going home during 1957. My ship was stationed in Newport Rhode Island and I would try to go home every chance I had.
It's also a province in Canada, as I've had to explain to a couple of New Jersey State Troopers at different time. Look on a map, we're on the north side of Maine. The world doesn't end at the American borders, no matter what George W. Bush says.
I was just reading an article about this line to Bay Head. Cool to actually see it

Reminds me when i took my trip from Belmar to Bayhead and Bay Head to Belmar too.
Nice video Alan John Smith
Enjoyed seeing that portion of the line. I only have the mileage from South Amboy to Asbury Park from a trip I took in the '60s with my grandmother.
Great Video!
Bonito video.
I remember when I was a kid we used to train hop around the loop
Nice video trip, Alan! :o)
New Jersey looks better than New Brunswick, because it's got passengers trains, something we'll never see up here again.
New Brunswick is in NJ.
