- Cardboard
- Transmitter, Receiver DEVO 7 - RX 701
- Mini Brushless Motor : 1510 - 2200kv
- 25 or 15A ESC
- Mini Servo
- 7,4v Battery 2S
- Propeller

most satisfying thing iv seen this morning so far....
Nice model and does look like it should fly. Suggest adding dihedral wingtips and re-adjust c of g. I built quite a few flying models in the 1970's and this brought it all back. Thank you

I would have thought that ailerons would improve the flying; also use an 11 volt battery and/or a bit more powerful motor. Great work either way!

this is a really great attempt! I had to build many many versions to get mine to fly. this plane would probably fly better if you added some weight to the nose

It looked quite nose heavy.. try extending the wires and spreading the electrics evenly throughout the plane to make it more balanced.
you could also try making a skeletal fuselage and wing, then cover it with cloth to save weight. :)

you should add either ailerons or dihedral to makee it more stable on the roll axis

What difference if I use 2700 kV emax motor?

If you want the plane to fly really well next time try using a better and more efficient motor, it will allow you to have a whole world of power. The motors I suggest (to keep the budget down) racer star 2208, or 2206 - quad racing motor ie the samguk series; and if your plane is really heavy, go with a racerstar 3536 which can pull 1.3 kilograms vertically. for the prop, it depends on the motors kv, but usually, the manufacturer of the motor will have a 'recommended prop'. and the battery is the heaviest but it will give you the most power (I trust that you know this stuff but anyways) but next time try a 3s lipo maybe a 600 or a 900Mah, as a suggestion. as for the ESC, max 25 Amp, as a suggestion, not a demand.
This helped a lot, I just made my first plane but don't know where to start with the electronics. My plane glides well hand-thrown paper airplane style and weighs 209.786 grams in total. I don't care if it flies like a loaf of bread or how bad it looks I just want it to fly. Heck, if Peter Sripol can make legos fly why can't I make some cardboard fly. As for the aerodynamics, it's okay but not the best. When thrown like a paper airplane, it glides decently well and is well adjustable.
Do you have any suggestions on what electronics I should use? I watched some videos explaining the parts but I am unsure of what motor and propeller size to use.
Anyway, if you are willing to respond it will be greatly appreciated.
It's not about weight and it's about speed and upgrade high speed motor
its not about speed its about thrust...more so the lift that is being generated.

should be no problem. You need a motor that that does 1000 does 1k+ rpms, and supports 7 volts battery. If it needs more volts... just change the battery. This doesn't exactly have to be paint by numbers.

Bro really just took a box that contained a RC plane and turned it into a Rc plane.
great DIY project! however, IMHO turning only with yaw control is a problem. Ailerons would help a lot here.

thanks for posting. a late comment. the wing of this model has zero dihedral and needs ailerons for roll control. changing to a dihedral wing would allow controlled turns using rudder and elevator. jackj sed it 1st. cheers

dude just proved you can make an rc plane using the cardbox box of the rc plane you bought that later crashed. So one arrow and two birds:)
With rudder and elevator, I would use some done dihedral to help turns.
