i dont think the edf would work since there is a constriction, but i'd say a normal compressor like impeller should, with a second propeller,so basically a turbojet i guess.
@@pranesh4238 The title of the video says Jet Engine. The item in the video is an EDF. Two fans and compression does not make a turbojet. You need to add a compressed fuel/air mixture.
Try running hho through a brass b tube with some bottle caps dont forgrt to run oil to the bearings and run the hho through water with a semi sealed lid so if you have a back fire it cannot detonate on you... probibly wont as the fuel/oygen mix will instantly go out the window. you have a very small window where atmospheric oxygen meets the hho and in that is your ignition point...i also had a stupid moment directly after when i couldnt melt a test tube. The most obvious by product is water haha and due to the laden effect it wouldnt react with the glass :)... no clue if this should have worked but it did . Then immediately rusted everything that wasnt brass including the bearings ... was cool for its once in its life run! Good work mate :)
In order to have a jet you have to ignite the compressed-air you're creating with the fan in the front with fuel in the back and that's what makes a jet you are just making an enclosed prop
Muy buena demostración pero hacerlo Real cambia todo mucho trabajo y precisión pruebas no es fácil yo estoy armando uno para probarlo como motor y después en una moto Argent
It's a beautiful design. Why don't you make a small jet, attach the engine to it to see if it can fly? Please, try that. It would be interesting to see. Good luck in your next endeavor.
thank you for supporting my channel, the truth is I'm planning to make a jet engine that can fly but I don't have enough tools to do it yet hehehe but next time I'll do what you say
Well it looked like it was going to take off sounded like it was going to take off it was mounted to a board for safety reasons experimental what is he plan to do with it next?
@@vishwanth19 no just a brushless edf with fassion, this one dosent even have flames. if you added a crompresser on the intake, then and afterburner, or a cumbustion chamber, it would be a turbo jet engine
Where this super glue will be available ....?? Because in the market we can get fevi quick which can't be used as super glue as you have shown in this video ....!!
@@MrCarmelocutajar your title says jet engine. You built a diy edf. There is no gas turbine driving your fan. There is an brushless motor, driving your electronic ducted fan. Interesting build though.
Well, without any data on fan speed or even air pressure ratios before and after the fan makes it tough to calculate thrust. Sticking one's hand behind the engine wouldn't be enough to figure on the amount of thrust being produced. Unless, you can hook up some sort of fish scale measuring device to the base and take a series of readings to where those numbers can be converted over to foot-lbs of thrust then averaging the readings. The only real issue that I had was the fan was not shown being balanced. Anything that spins at high rates must be balanced. Yet, this was shown not only to have been not balanced but there was no out of balance issues even at the higher speed settings! Quite a lucky guess from an engineering aspect!
Not a jet engine by any measure. But is a cool Electric ducted fan.
Yep
Put a little butane injector toward the front and a piezo electric ignitor near the fan it might just work
@@BarryWinner2075 i think aluminium will just melt

Make sense
Electric Ducted Fan EDF. Put four on a lightly built plane. It should produce enough thrust. No Jet though.

Wow it, worked I'm in Ghana it will not be nice like this
Excellent job, cool device. I'd call it more of a ducted fan, though.
Cool to see 4 (four), sitting underside on wing cross section, attached to scale model Boeing 747... servos on wing cross section, Coke RC plane.
That was pretty impressive
You should give Boeing a call, tell them you got the skills.
Not beoing Prat and whitney or gen electric

Projeto interessante mas, onde está o acelerador pro motorzinho. Um desse não pode ter essa aceleração toda e variável.. Usou bateria ou luz solar?
A jet engine has compressor stages and turbine stages, and much much more!
Why does TH-cam only show likes and not dislikes?

Thank you for posting this video 🎉. You have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work 🎉.
From 8.40 to 8.50 it has the same buzzsaw sound as a RR rb211 or trent at climb out power!
What did u use to make the speed go up and down? Btw exellent content!
Ver y good demostración bro
Wow, nice!
did it have thrust?
As long as it’s got enough power to get me to the pub 😂
Well done!

It won't fly because we need to use bldc motor

This is by no means a jet engine.
That looks awesome! How long did it take to build in real time?
You can also make it by bldc motor

Nice model
Wow nice work , How much trust did make

Do I buy a six pack, or a jet pack?
Yes. I do both.
Thrust amount? Flyed it?
Try to attach it to the plane and see if it's going to fly. For your nexy video bro
Cool
Put some wheels on it 👍🏻😁 or reg it to a center post let it fly in circles 👍🏻😎
IMPRESSIVE
Can you please tell me the name of the motor thats rotating the fan
Looks like a air raid siren
FAA approved... 😁✈️
Good Luck!
How can we control the speed of engine?
Now build one more and build whole aircraft body and off we fly 🤙😄 I’m amused
It's just a electric motor in a soda can
how many cans of soda were consumed to complete this project.
I want to try making that
Jet engine has to have a compressor- turbine config. But this has compressor only, and an electric motor as prime mover?
Beautiful..
How often does he glue his fingers to projects?
