Fair play you made that look easy! I only did the warm up laps before my over 60s race and decided 3 falls on the hip I broke last year was probably enough and not worth the risk. The course was very challenging with plenty of steep off cambers, the camera does not really do it justice. Impressive skills shown by the elite riders. I still ache in the hip today, so probably made the correct decision not to race. Hope you continue to have a good CX season and keep on with the excellent videos. Regards Steve
@@honorandtheo how did you rate the course when compared to others you have completed this season? I bet the steep climb to the upper field was a pain after the first lap!
@@helenandsteverivers1830 we were both really impressed by it, although neither of us did it very well! i (honor) found the hill much more manageable than the first london league race of the season at coombes farm, and the rest of the course much more rewarding for those with technical skill rather than just strength. i just need to do some specific off camber training to enjoy it to its full potential i think, but we'll definitely be back next year! we just uploaded another video covering our races and some other riders' views here if you're interested :) th-cam.com/video/5YCuoaDb_60/w-d-xo.html

It didn't feel easy! Sounds like you did make the right decision, look after yourself and hopefully we'll see you at more races this season
