Thanks for the post. Great job (for a chopper) narrating the action. I would think with all the pastry runs you have to do for the Rocket, you would have a good base of strength training in your legs by now.
Great video as ever Giorgio. Have you considered some other tubs like from Elite or similar for affordable spares to have a set of Grifo's or BL' s? Or even tubeless wheels with some good tubeless tires like the challenge HTLR's? Doesn't look like a full mud course, more an intermediate course like Grifo. Too low a pressure with the full Limus with its deeper thread might have been slowing you a bit compared to some faster tires?
I also think the kick onto the pavement on the muddy drag made a lot of difference for Alec. Kish was really strong too but stayed inside the course markers and drove through. I know bending the tape is a traditional CX technique but on a course like this where there's heavy mud vs pavement, the difference is night and day really.
I’m likely going to run tubeless next year which should hopefully give me the option of different tyres. In all honesty the reason I don’t have spare wheels/tyres is a lot to do with the admin of changing etc 😂 I find it a lot easier to just have one set of muds and turn up to race but maybe next year I will embrace the admin 🤔
Great footage and commentary chopper! This course is the same every year at Betteshanger park, the last race of 5 in the East Kent cx league, all courses Designed by Robert Kingsland and VC Deal Crew.👍
Awesome footage as always!
Awesome vid! What a battle!
More ftp. Less bakery runs 😂
That coal dust mud is tough on the clothes isn't it.
You and your wife are amazing folks. Watching from USA and enjoying all your videos
