I can sympathize brother, that's how almost every DIY mechanical project goes for me too. If it's supposed to be simple/easy, it won't be. If something can go wrong it usually will and usually it's the dumbest thing that should be the last thing to go wrong. I can give you a hundred examples. My reactions and the levels I progress or digress through seem about the same. Finally get there though, just took the longest most arduous PITA way to get there. Nice instructional video, keeping it real and showing it isn't always just beer and Skittles. Crap can and will go wrong, for some more than others.
Yep. In several of my other videos there is problems that happened and I decided to leave them in. I like to keep things realistic. Many videos make things look way better than they actually are.
Thank you for uploading this. I own a 2014 sel and man it pisses me off haha. Since a year ago both front links have disconnected, and when I went to look, both links are disconnected from the top, and they don’t even reach(about two inches from top). could the sway bar have moved and needs repositioning? I’m not a mechanic so pardon my ignorance.
2013 taurus With an alignment and brand new cooper CS5's put on jan 2022 and 7k mile rotations, my tires have abnormal wear which was noticeable within the first tire rotation. Struts are good, sway bar good, new end links. Inside to outside, treads are not consistent and are random tread heights. At $1,000 for tires and alignment, I dont know what else to do before putting more tires on. JW did my alignment and I am not going back. I will try a local garage this time. Any ideas?
Not that I've experienced. I won't say that it won't because I have seen some strange things, but most likely, it won't. Sound like you have a different issue, like possibly a bal joint or tie rod end.
Because I have amazing and awesome content that everybody loves? Or you're tired and have no idea what you're doing but you are looking for any excuse to stay awake and for some reason my crap came up in your feed so you decided to watch it? It's now 23:37, why am I replying to this? Why did I make this video to begin with? I also do not own a Ford Taurus. So many mysteries in this universe. Many of which may never be answered. I've also had quite a bit to drink. Have you? Maybe that's the answer?
GREAT to find this video. I'm having this problem with MY Taurus right now. Easier than I thought. Thanks!
You're welcome! I'm glad it is helpful!

If both links are broken then the bar is likely to drop down. You should be able to lift it back into position quite easily.
Do you have a video of replacing the sway bar bushings on this car?
No, but I do have one on an Explorer, which is almost the same thing.

Hard to say without being able to actually look at it. Have you checked all the bushings for the control arms and stuff too?
Does it make cricking sound when turning left when its broken ?
