    one of the most important events in the timeframe of the books/show is the loss of sansa's direwolf and the release or arya's direwolf. i imagine their time in kings landing would have been a lot different if they had their wolves

    Since the 73rd episode of GOT, your channel The Three Eye Raven has been most important to me. You help to keep the story and legends of got alive until every man breathes his last breath. You rock brotha 🤘.

    The most important part, for me, is when rhaegar Targaryen and lyanna Stark decided to run away together. Since Liana was already betrothed to Robert Baratheon, it caused the deaths of thousands and the war of 5 kings.

    Man, we need to bring the NightKing back!!!! And the Nights Queen....bring them back with ice spiders and ice dragons and everything dead...yes let Jon Snow go beyond the wall and see a new threat coming.....let's see how powerful Bran really is..vs the NightKing and NightQueen......

    I think the most important event was finding the dead stag and direwolf, which also lead to the children of there direwolves. It’s what cause Lady Stark to convince Ned to go south and accept the hand of the king, leading to his death, Sansa as a hostage, and Arya to be a trained assassin. As well as the war between the starks and Lannastirs, which lead to Robs death.

    • @ghost_304
      @ghost_304 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lady Stark told Ned not to take the hand of king because of what happened to the previous hand. Lady Stark wasn’t fan of the Lannister’s or Kinglanding. Imo the direwolves had nothing to do with it . That’s Starks house banners

      I don't believe that at all. Cat didn't want Ned to go. She made tat VERY CLEAR even if it was only in the show. I really need to read these books

  • @xWooftaa

    I haven’t read all of the books yet so I’m probably missing a bit of relevant information but I feel like the Targaryens leaving Valyria has to be at least ONE of, if not the most, important event to have happened. It was the catalyst to the Targaryen dynasty, directly effecting many subplots during and long after their reign.

    • @ghost_304
      @ghost_304 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If they never left Valyria then they would’ve never ruled westores , KingsLanding , none of that would’ve happened. And most of importantly Jon Snow wouldbe never been born lol

    I wasn’t aware of the books before the show so I guess my knowledge of that world’s history and lore is limited because the show left out a great deal. I do remember the scene where a man was turned into the Night King by the children of the forest, but it was brief with no exposition offered along with other tantalizing scenes involving the White Walkers that were never explained or followed up on.

    • @susanmartin3762
      @susanmartin3762 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And the show NEVER explained what that spiral design was and what it meant. It was shown to us in the very first episode. And again when that little boy was killed and hung on the wall surrounded by that design again.

    I think a show from that time period would be fun if grrm signed off on it. This storyline seems to be echoed a bit in Jon and Dany. Wouldn't it be odd if the HBO ending turned out to be more accurate than we all think it is? Jon goes off to the Wall, and Dany is carried away to somewhere nobody knows by Drogon.. No one knows where dragons come from. As you said, all sorts of strange things exist in the North. As for the Valyrian looks, that makes evolutionary sense that they might be from the far north. My imagination is running a bit wild here..😂

  • @EUMAN1

    Immune to fire, can communicate with and ride dragons, has Valerian blue eyes, commands an army and wears a crown of Spikes. Who does this sound like? Pretty sure it won't be, but the only thing missing is long blonde/white hair. Plus, I don't want DT to end up the way NK did. That would just be insulting by "adding salt, or rather Valerian steel, to the wound." Pun intended.

      Uncle Benjen was mudered by the white walkers, but the children of the forest saved him from turning. He could only live beyond the wall because of the magical power on the wall

      No, the timeline does not work out. I mean I guess it could have been an ancient person who was an ancestor to the Targaryens. But most likely she is not related, and she was just an ice priestess. The opposite of fire priestess' like Melisandre

    This is, in my opinion, the most compelling story in ASOIAF. I would love to see it fleshed out in a series. I had hoped GOT would go in this direction.
    I would add that the other story I want more details about is Brynden Rivers. Of all the characters in this world, I find him the most intriguing. I want to know how he came to be the three-eyed raven. There is a big gaping hole in that story that I find unacceptable. Along with the sons of craster, and how they came to be given to the WW. Also, the horn of winter and it’s purpose, and the crypts of Winterfell. Sam had the horn of winter. Why they didn’t use it to raise the Stark dead from the crypts to fight for the living, I just don’t know. The night king was made from magic and magic should have been used to destroy him. All that fighting was just the same shit over and over. Sam and Bran should’ve been able to find the lost clues to defeat the night king. That’s the direction they started in, and then it’s like they just sabotaged the ending. Still reeling from the disappointment.
