You gotta complete the "A hard rain falls" quest from the stranger first.
For the powerful enemies part, you should be able to get all 30 in one empire hunt, but if you need to you can back out of the hunt last second to farm some

The cloudstrike lives up to its name. Especially with its scope that can see up to a cloud with ease
i absolutely love this weapon...when i hit my shots
Quick tip when using lament for speed running, if you hit the block button until the orange sheild pops up then hit light attack and you go far
I am so glad that so many people got this weapon on their first run. It took me 18 times...

Oof, spent over 3 hours speed running the mission and only myself and one other random person in that whole time got cloudstrike
Lol I found it so funny hearing all the big Destiny TH-camrs make vids the day after the raid, they legit all souned totally wrecked lol
The lament is quite possibly our strongest exotic ever its heavy attack with 10x banshees wail hits a 175-275k precision hit and the 4 or 5 leading up to the heavy deal 40-70k precision for a grand total of up to 600k in 4 seconds

Finally got it. Took 18 runs. Here’s a trend that I noticed based on many comments through many videos like this: It seems that when you go from a higher difficulty to a lower one, it will drop. I did one on Heroic, got nothing, went back to adept, and got it. Try it out and let me know how it goes.
Day 55 I’ve resorted to paid carry. The RNG has never favoured me once. Gun still hasn’t dropped yet. Been farming runs now for 55 days and nights. It’s getting pretty rough.
Day 120 it’s been two seasons now... every waking moment has been spent on farming a single activity. Paid carry has literally refunded me my money. They say I’m hopeless. It’s rough but I’m not going to quit.
Day 365... all of Europa has sunset. Everyone is fighting the witch queen. I’m still here grinding this empire hunt. It’s rough but I’ll keep going.
Day 830. Climax of Destiny is here. I’m still on Europa. They say they’re going to DCV Europa in a week. Cloud strike still hasn’t dropped. It’s rough and I’m going to have to quit. It sucks now just like it did day 55.

my buddy does doesn't have access to this quest. Are there any prerequisites you have to complete before the stranger gives you this quest?

Question, my friend finished all of Empire Hunts and already got cloud strike.
Do I need to complete the empire hunt stuff or am I good to just hop on his fireteam and do it with him?
Literally ran it back to back for almost 3 and a half hours to get it, maybe running it in 5 minutes each time. Glad I finally did!

I'm probably just dumb, but how are you using perfect paradox? Its cap is 1060?
So I completed Explorer 1 and 2, but also another sabotage that basically overwrote the Empire Hunt: the Technocrat. Now instead of a cloudstrike as a reward, it says I get Powerful Gear (Tier 1) as a reward.
Since I already completed explorer 1 and 2, and can't restart them, does this mean I can't get cloudstrike?
I'm kinda clueless now.

Making your video under 10 minutes makes them more attractive to watch. Those 10-14 min videos are a no go for most of us. Lots of other smaller tubers with like 3-4 minutes vids.

Talk to the stranger, she will give you a quest. After finishing the quest it unlocked the things you'll need

i got it a couple of days ago took me about 5 hours straight
I've done it over 25 times on the easiest difficulty and I still haven't got it to drop.

@@derek7675 nope it worked. I told my friend who had the missions unlocked bring me into them and it let me in, i ended up getting it on my 5th run.

For the empire hunt I did phylaks, as you can die at the end of the boss fight to reset it and kill the yellow bars.
Have you had a chance to test it with Divinity in a Raid yet? Maybe Vs final boss in new Raid, one Divinity with 5 Cloudstrikes 🤔
This was literally the easiest exotic to get so far. I did the easiest difficulty and got it first try.

Imma tell you the truth. Coming from the borderlands community this kinda of grind is welcome. We need specific loot drops from all strikes, lost sectors and stuff like this.

Does it rotate? You chose the Dark Priestess earlier on to complete the other Europan Explorer Quest, but I chose the Warrior and the one I'm doing to farm it now, currently, is the Warrior Empire Hunt.

Got mine after an hour or more of grinding the 1180 hunt. I think people should take advantage of the 1180 farming while they still can before Bungie decides to nerf it.

Got mine today on the 1180 hunt. It took me about 5 speed runs.
The thing is that my empire hunt for some reason only has hero master and legend difficulties and i cant choose adept

I got mine in run no 5 while doing variks quest and a weapon bounty on hero
Maybe the drop rate does go up slightly, but not enough to actually go into the uncommon bracket, but I have no idea that’s just an assumption, and probably what it should be tbh

Stupid question, but how do you get more sabotage objectives? I thought they were time gated but apparently not. I’ve still only got 7
So on the mission where u can change difficulty do you have to kill yellow bar enemies there too or can u just go through it and get cloudstrike

Tried doing it and it gave me the dark priestess campaign, no selected difficulty nothing. Gave me a 4 step quest
