Otherside is one of my favorite songs ever from her and its low low but seemingly casual singing for her. You almost don't realize shes flowing through the third octave with peaks in the fourth.
Beyoncé’s lower range has always been where I like to hear her, but she rarely used to sing that low. But now it’s her sweet spot, so she's singing in it pretty regularly, and she sounds great. And the tone and richness her voice has developed makes her sound even better when she sings low. And I actually like this version of “Be Alive“ better than the studio recorded version, because she took it down a step and just sounds better generally.

To me, more than ever, she is showing that while she can mesmerize you physically, don’t get so lost in the sweet sound that you fail to realize how she’s bobbing up and down with her voice in a sophisticated and precise way. Despite the expansion of her bottom register, her voice is much comfortable in the mid-range. She never sings down there for too long.
