3 pcs. Pork Hocks
2 cups Pineapple Juice
¾ cup Soy Sauce
½ cup Vinegar
¾ cup Sugar
1 whole Garlic, mashed
4 pcs. Laurel Leaves
1 Tbsp. Whole Pepper Corn
4 Tbsp. Salted Black Beans
1 cup Banana Blossom
4/5 cups Water

We're a small household, but for some Filipino dishes it's just worth it to make in big batches. For a dish like this, what is rhw best way to store? Can i freeze it? If i yes, do i separate the liquid from the meat?
Sounds great! If you store it properly, it can last a week.
The HUMBA I've known in Samar had star anise and whole peanuts.

The only difference between Chef Tatung’s humba and mine is that my pork hock is sliced and not whole and I slow cook it in a crock pot.

that's adobo not humba, Humba is nilaga for 20 to 30 minutes, drain overnight, fry the meat the following day, then ilalaga ulit. it's a long process kaya mahal ang humba. (Hum - roast, ba - meat).
