Ingredients:
Oil For Saute
- 2 kl Pork Ribs
- ⅓ cup Maggi Savor Calamansi
- 2 pcs Onion Minced
- 6 cloves Garlic Minced
- ¼ kl Chicken Liver
Season with Salt
- ¼ cup Annatto Oil
- ⅓ cup Soy Sauce
- ½ kl Ripe Tomato
- 6 pcs Laurel
- ¼ cup Sugar
Season with Black Pepper
- 1 Sachet Maggi Magic Sarap
- 2 pcs Red Chili
- 1 pc Red Bell Pepper Julienne

Nice Chef me I'm using pork lomo marinated to calamari at toyo for 4 hrs or overnight then fried golden brown pagluto na ang asado palamigin yun fork then slice para di madurog yun lomo at maganda ang presentation.

my lola and mama always use tomatoes instead of tomato sauce and indeed super classic and panalo yung lasa. Now my wife also use the same recipe for menudo, mechado using real tomatoes ❤❤❤

Bulacan asado don't have chicken liver and atsuete and tomatoes. We uses tomato sauce or tomato paste and add laurel., in Pampanga they uses fresh tomatoes and oregano. It's good.

I'm not saying it's a Bulacan asado, I was just merely stating how asado is cooked in Bulacan. As you know each province in the Philippines has it's own way of cooking classic dishes.

Yes! If you want the sauce to be red tomatoes can give it naman. Slightly red in color!
Cooking the meat one hour after boiling point is just right for my pork meat.....2 hours for my beef on slow med heat.
Filipinos love to marinade their meat. The meat gets boiled and not seared. I rather sear it first then add the sauces to finish.
