Marvel's Avengers is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, the game is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. The game's main storyline takes place five years after A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers wherein a tragedy resulted in death and destruction, and the Avengers were blamed. The team is forced to reassemble to save the world from peril in the form of A.I.M. led by MODOK which threatens ending the world from superpowers. The game features an online co-op mode, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes of their own. The initial playable characters include Steve Rogers / Captain America, Tony Stark / Iron Man, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanova / Black Widow, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, with more becoming available to players post-launch.

That final fight between Kamala and the Kree was very unexpected, it suddenly switched to a completely different game which is epic. The music in the background and Sandra’s performance too gives me chills. Despite how many issues the game has (which are decreasing overtime) you can clearly see how much they love these characters.
Agreed. Kamala is, easily, the best character in the game. Maybe not the most fun to play as, but in the narrative, she's dead-center.

Jack Hatfield in one of the X-men comics( before Avengers vs X-Men) when the X-Force goes to the future, they notice that the sentinels are the size of buildings, so yeah their huge in the comics

apparently my theory was right, this game will really have expansions of the main story, judging by the post credit scene, apparently the villains of the first expansion will be The Kree, Supreme Intelligence, Yon-Rogg, Ronan the Accuser, etc.
Why even have a theory when the they declared themselves that this game has a ten year plan. It’s not rocket science to figure out they are expanding, square Enix and Disney straight tell you, over the years more characters and story will be added. Smdh, I really hope you didn’t think you were the first person to figure this out, when all you have to do is research.

I gotta hand it to these developers using the Marvel license, they don't go for villains that people immidietly think of. Instead of Venom, we got Mr. Negative for most of the game and Doc Oct as a teacher and student fallout finale. Instead of Ultron, Galactus or Thanos, they go for Modok, the most made fun of Marvel Villain for the longest time. And they nailed it. I really love how they made Aim a huge threat than just being there like most Marvel games or shows. Especially how much he was hated in Marvel 3 and how much of a troll they wrote his dialog and relevance to be an idiot.
Also this game made me change my mind about this Ms. Marvel, I didn't like her as much when she was revealed, but they handled her very good than just Avengers and Avengers only.
I played this story and I believe it was done really well. MODOK was pretty menacing throughout, however I’m excited to see the other villains they end up doing. Ultron was found in the files, I just hope he gets good treatment closer to the comics “antman related” and stuff

As you said, M.O.D.O.K was an excellent choice. He is intelligent, powerful, and not as well known as the villains we have seen over and over again.

@Sachin V I think they perfected MODOK xD I wasn't sure how he's turn out in realistically modeled animation but they blew it outta the water with him. Plenty of problems with the game but that wasn't one of them lol
Personally, I hope they make the next great villain Ultron. Like the MCU definitely messed up that character. Like they even buffed him in the MCu by making him a creation of the Mindstone but his design looked nothing like his counter part and he was literally just making robots do his work while he gets bashed in the face by Tony Stark. Definitely didn't have enough screen time for a main villain. The best thing about that movie is how they introduced Scarlet witch and Quicksilver. At least they got Scarlet witch's opiness right. But in a game, maybe they can perfect it. It's also good campaign wise because Hank Pym or Tony Stark create him so there will be a lot of controversy/betrayal.
I can't help but chuckle at the post credit dialog, when Captain America speaks towards Ironman but his head isn't looking towards him at all. Just simply turned 90 degrees.

@@rzgaming550 well she should be more agile and have debuffs to put on enemies. hulk should be a tank and more enemies would focus him but he should have more area effect attacks. tony is able to adjust to engagements and should have a arsenal of weapons to use including suits with different abilities. thor should be able to easily focus down single targets with high damage abilities. in a dungeon crawler which this game basically is each character should have their own strengths and weaknesses
This game really put MODOK on the map again, I already knew he'd be part of this once I saw AIM but I didn't think he'd be the main villain since he's been kinda inactive in the comics

I really loved and liked the storytelling and the way it tells a story is soooooooo very uniquely perfect originality with a different opening scene as well as different ending scene. That's how you make a very incredibly super interestingly unique story.
The framerate during Thors section was really bad.

Shadow X it’s been an issues seen since the initial A-day demo was opened to press and still persists to launch. And the 10 year plan idea is dope but unlikely as I don’t see this being the Financial success marvel/square is looking for. I’m still getting it because I love these characters but I feel the general public might ditch it which for a games as a service game is a deadend. I hope to proven wrong but I’m just saying we can really have high expectations that it will last beyond 3-5ish dlc heros (guessing they’ve already designed/begun working on at least that many)

I'll be honest I was hesitant to play this game at first due to Marvels lack of making good games but the game surprise me in a number of ways with the nice combat system and the variety of ways to play with the different Heroes overall I'm really excited for the next expansion of the story this is a really fun game and I hope to all those who play enjoy it thoroughly

Hulk should be able to destroy that robot without even trying, the down scaling of the Hulk is CRAZY.
I mean it’s like if they made a Superman game. Hulk is supposed to be indestructible as hitting him only increases rage and with it, his strength. So any game (even the best hulk game, ultimate destruction) has to nerf him
You clearly don’t know how strong Kree tech is, they gave Hulk and other heroes that scale to him, trouble many times in the comics. Hell, MODOK himself regularly fights hulk and heroes that scale to him.
Also in the tie in comics, it was stated that Thor and Hulk can destroy the planet, so yeah.

Have you read the comics? The knee gave technology that could get the best of characters like the hulk, Hyperion, Thor even. Basically all the heavy hitters in Marvel. Kree Sentry bots are not to be taken lightly.
