It’s like Tony and Steve throughout the Avengers movies except now, it’s Tony and Bruce haha. Never expected that. I don’t even know if it makes sense for the characters. Tony and Bruce always seemed to connect and would work together throughout all the avengers films. Despite tony having to fight Bruce in the 2nd one, they never really had that much conflict with each other. In addition, Tony admires Bruce in the first avengers film for the work that he did and how he was a big fan of the hulk, despite his arrogant remarks at times lol. He also is seen with Bruce during infinity war and Bruce is in love with his new Nano tech, and Tony says before the fight with alien Squidward that he “misses” him, fighting by his side, working with him. However, from a personality stand point, it would make sense that bruce put the blame on tony as he usually would complain a lot in the first couple films and was actually somewhat hostile towards the Avengers at first, not trusting them and why not. I am not familiar with the comics so I’m getting pretty much all of my info based off of the films, which I thought were excellent and allowed the characters to grow in ways that I did not expect, but I did not expect this either. It seems that if Steve was still alive and it was the other way around, Tony and Steve’s relationship would’ve probably been a mess as well. However I like how they talk it out in space before they think they’re about to die. Gives me a lot of Avengers films vibes and it makes me believe that they got the characters right to some extent, at least in regards to how the films played out (again, not familiar with the comics 😅). So now that I think about it, this is a great alternate story to the Avengers. I feel like they got the “outcome” of the characters right, after the 5 years that had passed, how tony and Bruce are not at speaking terms, which would be the tony and Steve thing, but for this story it is just with tony and Bruce. Damn I don’t think I’d write for that long, but there ya go. I’d be curious to know other people’s opinions on the characters.
