When this game came out I thought there was going to be a villain of each avenger like the taskmaster ,abonineition and the crossbones but they were just robots
This game had so much potential. The story was decent and had a pretty good flow. The gameplay was pretty good. Its best problem was the glitches and the fact that it took basically half a year to just release one new character. I was hoping for scarlet witch, doctor strange, captain marvel, she hulk, quake, and so many more. In my opinion they should have finished the story line and then cancelled the game. They could have released 3 or 4 more heroes and finished with captain marvel which would have completed the kree invasion

I like to believe that when Taskmaster attacked on A-Day that he was hired by Monica to attack the Golden Gate Bridge to divert and distract the Avengers and making everyone remember how their heroes failed them, I mean she and George did seem awfully suspicious during the hunt for the comics before Bruce appeared before them to ask George if they can look over the numbers, plus Monica did use Bruce to further her research and her goals especially with Gamma. This game had so much potential, I was excited when this game first got announced many years ago and I was excited as I loved the Avengers, it's definitely a shame that Crystal Dynamics was forced to release it the way it was by the publisher as if Square Enix had told them that they get more time to get rid of all the bugs and glitches, this game could have lasted for decades, given us more story with the Kree Invasion, given us more heroes like of course Captain Marvel as I would have loved to have seen Kamala Khan just fangirling over her idol, just imagine all the interactions and of course we could have gotten more MCU skins for characters who needed them with new ones that would have came after the Love and Thunder film. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this game as got it on both my Series X and PS5 and have been getting back into the Series X after I stopped playing for a good while, still jarring to go from playing a version with Spidey to one without Spidey
This modok was better than Antman 3, they should have taken some notes…. I think red hulk would have been a cool character to add. Working with ain and they gave him the powers of red hill….. but no just add some big robots, and repeat some of the bosses……. Hopefully they add avenger member games to the insomniac verse.
The issue with Insomniac adding the Avengers is that they don't have the rights to those characters, I mean they can reference buildings like how Marvel's Spider-Man 1 had the Avengers Tower, Sanctum Sanctorum i.e Doctor Strange's place of living, I think Miles Morales game had a touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman, unsure/can't remember if Marvel's Spider-Man 2 had any references to any MCU or non-Spider Man characters, but what we do know is, if Insomniac was to create Avengers type games, we know they won't ever release them on the Xbox, it'll be PlayStation and of course PC, since Wolverine is getting made by Insomniac for the PS5 and then down the line, it'll be on the PC
Just wished they had continued the story even if they ended it with Captain Marvel and the Kree Invasion, throw in her MCU skins as well since she would only have like 3 outfits, one being her introduction film and 2 being her Endgame skins, one long haired skin and one short haired one since her introduction to the game could have been way before The Marvels came out unless they would have saved the release after the film came out so we can get a new Ms. Marvel skin and the Captain Marvel outfit from that film
If MODOK would've acted and looked like this in antman 3, it would've probably been slightly better. But yet...this game chose to have half of their villains as big robots instead of iconic villains. Taskmaster, Abomination, and Modok are literally the only notable villains in this...with Abomination sort of notable and more of a side villain. Taskmaster should've been the main villain instead of just a beginning fight with black widow, along with this badass Modok. And maybe they are, idk, I didn't play it and refuse too. But have them at the end fighting the Avengers. Abomination if your first boss, fine. Have Monica in there, fine, goes good with the AIM story and you have your token strong woman fight. And nice to have a villain that's not well known and can't do much physically on their own which makes for creative boss fights. Cut the warbot and the warship and add in Mandarin and Ultimo or Whiplash, or someone! Cut the secret bosses and make them mandatory and since you already fought abomination and have Taskmaster at the end already, add in two other well known villains! That's room for 4 other well known villains you could've fought as the Avengers. Damn dude. That's boring and bland, like most games these days. Very much expected I guess. Has potential, but wasted on special effects and graphics. Not playing it. Nice video though. Your video is enough for me to know not to buy it which I appreciate lol!

It was released far earlier than it should all because Square Enix wanted it out faster, hence why the game was filled with soooooo many bugs and glitches that took months to try get rid of them all though some still remain but I think the biggest reason why the game got the hatred was because of it being a live service game with microtransactions where you had to spend real money to buy from the ingame marketplace to get character cards, costumes, emotes, Takedowns, banners. It definitely brought back memories to 2006 when the devs of Sonic 06 were forced to release that game way too early than it should have, which made the game extremely buggy and glitchy as you would clip through things and be sent in all different directions.
I've played the Guardians of the Galaxy game, it's a shame the devs of that game didn't continue with the game in terms of DLC, would have been nice to see where our heroes could have gone but definitely a fun game
@PrinceYamiUchihaCosplay I think it's because the sales of the game. Since people probably thought it'd be like Marvel Avengers. I tried it out on PS Plus since I wasn't technically spending 70 bucks on it and ended up enjoying it as well.

So basically, you want them to just be a Souls type boss. If you want that, you could try to see if Marvel will allow FromSoftware to create a Marvel Avengers game. Also, as stated in the game and comics, Taskmaster has to forget a fighting style to learn a new one, something which in one of the Villain Sector mission, Kate Bishop mentions that Master's brain must look like Swiss cheese
Not really, as Tony is always like that in most media, he can be serious at times but he dies like to joke around with his quips, it's like trying to make Spider-Man a serious character without his quips, it wouldn't work as Spidey is definitely known for his quips in fights, it would go as well as trying to make Deadpool not funny and not break the 4th walls

The Avengers wouldn't have worked or came back together if it wasn't for her, Captain America would have still been up in space without the help of Kamala realising what Monica was saying during Bruce's interrogation of Monica, where Monica says to Bruce "Scour the Earth, you will not find our lab" all by rewatching the recording and going back to that message till she found the clue of the laboratory, so I enjoyed her character
Technically, Inhumans are a type of mutant, Ms. Marvel was actually supposed to be a Mutant when she first got created in the comics but she was instead made as an Inhuman, it wasn't until many years later that Marvel decided to go with their original idea and actually make her a Mutant, which the MCU went along with as stated in the final episode of Ms. Marvel, where Bruno says that her DNA has something Mutant, which was followed by the 90's X-Men animated theme tune
Definitely, if only Square Enix had just push the release window for another year or so to allow Crystal Dynamics to work on it to make sure it's perfect enough for release, the hame could still be releasing new content and costumes to this day

Truthfully I liked the story gameplay but then multiplayer, except for DLCs, was gratuitous and just boring
